new 1000 owner

Well i had a 2014 850. I began to get a vibration under load, which my dealer told me was internal to the engine. He did not was to tear the engine apart under warranty in fear of not finding anything not getting paid from Polaris. After many calls, complaints, and threats of Lawers to polaris customer service, they gave me 1000$ polaris cash, on top of the $ 7000 polaris gave me on trade. All in all, i traded a 2014 850 with 2100 miles on it, all stock with a winch, and a engine vibration, for a 1000 and only had to pay 3200$. Im pretty happy with how the situation turned out.

Tire Balance

My 2005 400ex has the original tires with less than 100 miles. Since it sat for 7 years in one spot, the wheels sort of deformed, having a "low" spot. So when I coast slow on smooth road/asphalt, I really feel the pulsing/whump as they go around.

After I ride a while – will the tires sort of reset themselves and round back out? If not, is one option to just have the wheels balances to offset that effect? Or am I looking at new tires.

Thanks in advance. Love the info on this forum.

Got a new trailer

I picked up our 8.5×16′ v nose yesterday with a four foot side door now we can put all three of our quads in there. Stay tuned because I’m going to pimp out the inside[emoji106]

Is this right? Is it legal?

Ok, I finally got my Sportsman 850 back from the dealer with a new front diff to replace the one I busted in the snow.

Dealer tells me that Polaris warrantied the part out of "good faith" but would not warranty it again. They said it was "impossible" that it broke the way I said it broke. I don’t know about impossible, but I dang sure know how it broke and it shouldn’t have. (I was cutting donuts on my icy driveway in 2wd and the front diff busted) I can’t explain it either, but that’s how it happened. I don’t know if 4wd had never fully disengaged or what, but it sure has heck broke.

Now, is this dealer full of crap, or would and could Polaris try to pull this stunt, even though I purchased the extended warranty?

Bumper Dent Help

I had a full size Jeep rear end me when I was stopped on the trail. Thankfully nobody was hurt, but I’ve got a good dent in my rear bumper. The bumper hasn’t deformed, but I’m concerned that the dent will weaken it.

Can I weld fill it and still retain strength? Or does the tube need to be cut out, replaced, and sleeved?
