Hey guys,
I just installed my TricRings and I love them !!
These things are cool, very high quality,
The LED’s are mounted on a 1mm thick PCB,
Very sturdy, and the fitment is dead on,
I am Very impressed !!
Damn they look great outlining the headlights !!
Heres a few pics, I removed the headlights for
Ease of install and pics.
Looking for a good lightly used set. 28-29.5 gen 1 or 2. Let me know if you are looking to get of some! Needs to fit my can-am —–Best place to buy used? Don’t see any by me right now
First question is …I backed my ATV out of the bed of my pickup. I stopped it while the front wheels were still elevated on the ramps and noticed if i grab the wheels there seems to be a little slop in them. I can turn them back and forth just a little. Is this slop normal? It doesnt seem like it should be.
2nd question: when i sit with the machine running in park and turn the wheels from left to right and back i can feel no difference in the resistance whether the dps is s
et at max or min. Shouldn’t it turn easier on max even at idle?
I just bought a 2009 grizzly 550 used of course and tested it out and it only hit 40mph. I know that they go faster than that so there has to be an issue here. But what could it be? It runs great and doesn’t rev high to get moving, so any suggestions? And how fast are they supposed to go? Still have stock tires/wheels. Thanks in advance!
Hi, I’m Polish and I can not exactly describe it.
ATV stood in the water two days.I Replaced Ignition Coil Controller and fired. The engine warms up very quickly and belched heat. He stopped screwed up on speed. Left finally died. After cooling, the fired normally. Before the engine warmed up (2 minutes) he worked normally. Later we go again. I stripped the stator and now I have no spark.
What do you think?
So this is kind of a question for anyone that has gone aftermarket, retained the stock skid, and/or added the Thunderhawk Skid-Max.
Do stock skid plates cover significantly less than their aftermarket counter parts?
Does the addition of the Thunderhawk Skid-Max negate the need for an aftermarket chassis skid? E.g. are the factory skid plates strong enough when supported by the Skid-Max? I understand the a-arms are a different discussion.
As I understand it UMHW is the way to go as opposed to a full aluminum skid. I’m all for doing things "right" but I’d be hard pressed to drop $5-600 if the Thunderhawk Skid-Max does a good job of negating the need for a full aftermarket skid.
