420 clutch/transmission problems!!!

Hey guys,
so i was riding my 2008 420es today when all of a sudden my clutches started slipping to the point were the bike wouldnt move, we tried to adjust them my backing the nut off but and twisting the adjustment screw, but it wouldnt move. the es wouldnt let it shift into neutral and the manual shifter wouldnt turn the shaft you put it on, so we towed the bike stuck in 1st with the clutches open, halfway down the highway it locked the back end up and they would engage but slip! so i drove it home in 1st, got it in neutral and now it wont go into any gear with the es or back up shifter! thinking the shifting fork coiuld have something to do with this but im not sure!
Any help is much appreciated!!
Thanks in advance!

Water in the transmission

Hello again!! Nice to be back on my Hawkeye riding the roads. Just took my son down a hunting road with plenty of mud holes and he had a blast. Wasn’t sure how deep the holes were (first time on the road in those conditions) and some ended up being pretty deep…deeper than I thought. Engine bogged down pretty good, guess because the exhaust was in the water…just kept it floored. After one hole, it didn’t want to go too fast. I’m guess it was because water in the transmission. I got parked and looked at the drain hole where the plastic yellow bolt/plug was suppose to be at, and it was missing….AGAIN. Idled it up for a little bit, and dark/black water came out of the drain hole. I’m guessing it was just belt residue turning the water black. But got it back on blacktop and could open it up no problem.

Any tips for when doing this stuff maintenance wise? And does anyone just run it without the plastic plug in it?

2014 570 EPS Shuts down

Just picked up a 2014 570 EPS with 640 miles on for my wife. I purchased it from a dealer who re-flashed the ECM after we discussed the issues I had seen on the forums. First day It was taken out 3 times the first two it went just fine. A buddy rode it hard, wife went easy on it and I road it hard. When I hut the breaks to come into the drive way I noticed that the power EPS became very stiff and when I took my foot off the rear break the wheels remained locked. I pulled into the driveway and the power cut out and the machine died. I tried to restart but there was no reaction when the key was turned. I waited a minute or so and it started up and runs fine… Does anyone have any ideas as to the cause?

Auto Shut Off is a Problem

I have only had my 2012 Outlander 800 a few weeks and there seems to be an auto shut off feature that kills the power to the 12 volt output when the machine is not running. I can only operate a stereo, pump, etc for about 10 – 15 minutes after switching it to the auxiliary position, and then it will shut the equipment off. Lights and computer remains on, but the machine will not start or power equipment through auxiliary until the computer is reset.

I apologize if I’m missing a thread on this topic, but I have not found anything yet related to my issue. If it is an auto shut off feature, I would like to know if there is a way to bypass it? Any help, will be greatly appreciated.

86 Honda 70 Fourtrax

Hey guys new to the forum but am a lifelong Honda lover. Anyways have picked up an 86 Honda 70 Fourtrax and want to beef up the engine. Plan on going with a 88cc big bore kit from DrATV my question is I’ve found this Race Cam offered from the same website DrATV and am wondering if it is also a "bolt on" or "drop in" part? Will it work with the 88cc big bore kit and the original head? Any and all help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Below is the 88cc Big Bore kit I plan on using along with the Race Cam that is in question.
