New Maxxis Zillas

I just got new 26" Maxxis Zillas this morning, and I was wondering how much clearance everyone has between the inside of the front tires and the tie rod ends?

I don’t seem to have very much clearance at all. maybe 1/4".

Think that will be a problem? What does everyone recommend that I do?

I was thinking wheel spacers would be my best bet, but I Have heard horror stories about wheel spacers.

Scraches on my shocks….

On my shocks where the plastic that separates the tender springs there are scraches on both of my back shocks. I wash my rzr every time I take it out and I have never seen them before. Is this something I need to worry about?

I did a search, but I guess I’m not good at it. I couldn’t find any other posts. My rzr is out of warranty BTW.

STU Sand Tires and Wheels XP 1000

I want to get a set of liught weight beadlocks wheels with an offset and or increased width to make the RzR a bit wider than stock.

For tires I think I am looking to go with some Play cut Sand Tires Unlimited Paddles, and something nice and wide for the front so that it will float (undecided on which tire to get for the front). Also on my ATV I ended up getting a 1" wider rim than the tire is usually setup for to help make it wider and float better. Any options like that for the RzR? (They were STU Razor backs and I would love to see something similar for the RzR!). The angled front rib really helps with steering but leaves the ability to slide a bit. Also seems to direct sand in the proper direction when the wheels kick it up.

Open to suggestions.

Thanks!

A-Arm Info

So while researching lifts for my ’15 570, I found nobody makes jack sh!t for it.
BUT I did some research and found that the arms are the same as previous models and people do make lifts and arched arms for those.

Here’s what I got so far from the Polaris parts catalogs.

2202906=’15 570, front a-arm LH
1017747-067=’15 570, upper rear LH
1015888-067=’15 570, lower rear LH

2202906=’12 800, front a-arm LH
1017747-067=’12 800, upper rear LH
1015888-067=’12 800 lower rear LH

2202906=’08 500, front a-arm LH
1014320-067=’08 500, upper rear LH
1015888-067=’08 500, lower rear LH

So it looks like everything is the same except the upper rear arm on the ’10 and older models. BUT everything is the same on ’11 and up models.

I couldn’t find anybody that makes a big lift, that isn’t a one off custom lift, for the ’11 and up models. It does look like SuperATV offers arched front A-Arms for all value line Sportsmans, including 570s, 2005 and up.

Polaris Sportsman 500/700/800 High Clearance Forward Offset A-Arms (1.5 Inch) : Polaris : Sportsman / ATV : A-Arms

I’m gonna buy some next month and will report back.
