Tire/Wheel Question

I have 27x9x12 and 27x11x12 mud tires currently on my 07 700 with 1 inch spacers. I am buying new tires as these are worn out. If I get ITP Delta Steel wheel with 4+3 offset will I still need my spacers. I would like to not use them. Thanks
Here is what I am getting:
Blackwater Evolution
27x9x12
27x11x12
ITP delta steel wheels
12×7 w 4+3 offset

Discount Tire Deal

Anybody looking for a set of tires or a package. Discount Tire is having a wicked sale…just ordered a set of BD Xtr’s 27×14 on Raceline wheels for my rzr for 830 bucks shipped and I’m getting 295 bucks in rebates. Hard to beat and they are great to work with.

Stole some tires today

Looked on craigslist to see what was out there. I found a set of 26" ITP Baja Cross 8 ply that the guy said had maybe 5 miles on them. I took a 45 minute road trip to check them out and they looked brand new. I don’t think the guy new what he had so I passed him 250 bucks and hit the road. His loss was my gain. Time for some new rims for the 570 now.

washers as temp spacer

So i have seen some posts referencing using washers as spacers. So I got the new tires installed and they are wider than the factory Carlisle even though it is a 25x10x8. More squared off. There was only about an 1/8 inch between the tire and the rubber boot of the tie rod in so I put some grade 8 washers behind the wheel that are about 1/16 of an inch thick to give just a tad more space for now. Just want to verify the that the thickness is ok. I can’t imagine that using anything thinner would do any good. I think I will just end of ordering new rims. I may consider the tie rod flip, if I can find a good video on it to show how to determine where to adjust the TRE to. Pics of TRE are with washer installed. Tires are at 7 PSI, but will be going down to around 4 or 5 psi. Thanks for any info.

What size HTRs for my 550XP

Guys, after much research I have decided to replace my factory 26" Carlisle 498 tires with Kenda Bear Claw HTRs. I have been really surprised with all the positive reviews on these tires. As a matter of fact, unless you run a lot of mud, I haven’t found a bad review. Now that I know the tire I want I am having a hard time deciding on what size I want. My 2013 550XP is the browning edition, I like the factory camo 14" wheels and plan to keep them. Kenda only makes a 26" or a 28" tire for a 14" wheel (I will be running a 9" wide tire on front and an 11" wide tire on rear). I love the idea of getting 28" tires to increase my clearance but I am afraid it will be too much weight for the 550. I have already had conformation that 28" will fit without rubbing so it is more of a question of wear and tear on the machine. There are about 3-4 lbs difference per tire going from a 26" to a 28" (12-16 lbs more in tires). Even with the 26" tire I will be adding 32 lbs of tires to the machine over my current factory tires. I will likely add QSC clutch kit just to try and keep the low and mid power that I have now. If I had an 850 I would put in the 28" and not even think about it. Sorry to ramble just laying it all out there. Opinions? Anyone already been down this road?
