springs!
can any of you all post some close up pictures of you front and rear shocks and springs. my top springs are totally close up which I am sure is not doing what they need to like that. Should they not have some space in between? i have not adjusted them at all they are still set on the factory setting.
What tools do you carry?
I finally put my kit together. I like to be prepared for anything, including helping other that need help. I routinely get 20 miles away from home on the trails and walking out is my last resort.
I used to carry all this stuff in a bag all loose and bouncing around. After I had to change a belt in the bush, I had a hell of a time finding the right sockets etc. I ended up finding the giant rubber Gear Ties by Niteize. They work great! They keep all the socket, screw drivers, wrenches and even pliers all tidy in the bag.

TRX500 Rubicon IRS EPS

I was was speaking to a relative of mine who owns a 2012 Rubicon and loves and i had told him that I was looking at a couple of Honda Models and a Grizzly to haul the Sea-Doo at the lake and do some trail riding.
I told him that I was looking at the Foreman 500 manual shift as the leading candidate.He told me I would be happy with Honda Product for what I was using it for.
He made some good sense in our conversation.He said get what you want the first time 10-15 dollars a month is not that big a deal for the machine you will love and have it set up the way you want (Winch&Tire Upgrade).
He did mention that I should really consider the TRX500 Rubicon IRS EPS and that the the Power Steering is something I should really get.
It is a few more dollars more than the Foreman. I am just seeking everyone’s opinion on how they like riding and working the new Rubicon model with the IRS.
when and where can you watch
stock tie rods with forward a arms?
i just ordered some all balls tie complete tie rod kits and was wondering if they will work with forward a arms? ive been trying to find tie rods for forward arms and all i see is superatv tie rod ends…. are they any good? will the stock tie rod ends work?…. i would rather not buy heim joints at the moment because of the price
New RZR owner
Hey everyone. i finally traded in the Can-am outlander 800 for 2015 RZR 570 LE. It was a toss up between that and the new trail 900 base model. But after reading everyones post about how well the 570 is and also getting more for your money with the LE package i decided to go with the 570. I should have it by wednesday. The dealer didnt have the red in stock. It sucked driving home with the truck empty and no ride for the weekend. I’ll post pics but just wanted to say thanks for all the great info of this site.
no warranty support
Hi everyone, i wish my first post was under better circumstances……..been out of the offroad game for a couple years due to injuries. I finally purchased a brand new fox edition xp 1000. Had the time of my life for 4 weeks. it has 34.4 hours on it now and smoked top end. polaris will not fix due to my negligence in servicing air filter….at 34 hours!?!?!!? Dealer was out at first service, so i did one more trip on stock air filter…….it has no holes and no one can explain to me how the dirt got passed the filter…..wtf!!!! at any rate, as a long time polaris supporter,buyer and rider (2 outlaws,2trailblazers among anothers, thousands of miles in 8 western states, never lost a motor before) i have to retract all polaris support from this time forward. Will never purchase another polaris product or part……..hopefully i can fix my ride with aftermarket parts once i can save the money, since i dumped every dime i had on my new garage art…..do not buy a polaris unless you can afford the problems,there is literally no warranty support. the machine may be the way out, but its also their way….into your wallet, peaceout, ryan
2013 rancher 420 engine problem
Hello, I have a 2013 Honda rancher 420 base model that is starting to have a running problem. It starts up fine but after I ride it for about 15-20 min. It will start to act like it wants to miss and even back fire or shut off while riding, but has started right back up every time but once.the last time it did this it didn’t start for a good 5 min. I figured since the check engine light isn’t coming on its not that big of a deal, but I would like to get it fixed before anythang bad happens. Any help would be greatly appreciated
