Long story short i left the key on the bedrail of my truck and drove off, i found it an hour later but it had been ran over, i tried it in the bike and it seams to be working fine but i want to kno where the chip is in the key. The part of the key that goes into the ignition swithc was un damaged but the body of it is cruckes and what ever plastic thats under the rubber is broke. Im worried that the key might crap out at some random time. Any one else think so?

I have a 2013 Outlander xt 1000, I called a dealer to get the maintenance message turned off he said he could blah blah blah and did I get my first service done, I said yes I did it and he said have your valves been adjusted, I said no this is the first ive heard of it and he said that at the first service they need to be adjusted by a dealer. Have yall done this or got this done? How much out of adjustment were they? What did yall pay? Thanks in advance.
