Radiator cleaning tools?

Hey guys i’m posting here since I know this forum has a lot more knowledge than some others, I have a hard time washing out the radiator on the wolverine and i’m planning a trip to Brimstone in about a month and I want to be able to clean it out once I get there seeing as I know it will probably get dirty there and i’ll be in a pinch. I have seen the radiator genie but I refuse to pay 50 bucks for a garden hose adaptor and didn’t know if anyone else had made anything similiar to it or copied it? Odd question but its worth a shot! Thanks guys! :rocker:

new quad

dont worry, i still have the grizzly. you guys havent gotten rid of me yet.

i was trying to wait till i get a better photo, but im sick of waiting.

2003 ltz 400. bought it from a friend for a decent price. its got some fun stuff on it. pipe, intake, jets, uncomfortable handlebars, twist throttle, nerf bars

ive already got it apart. going over bushings, bearings, etc.

im ditching the thumb throttle, adding a 12v port for my gps… adding a light bar(of course).. and putting on a better handlebar bend. raptor petcock(the oem one on these is a terrible vacuum design that always fails).

as for future mods.. i hope to get some of the remote reservoir shocks for it, and eventually swap off the loud ass pipe for a stocker. im going to put on a small rear rack for beverages and a bit of tool/clothing storage. should look nice and absurd on a sport quad.

would love to get rid of the obnoxious yellow plastics as well, but ive pretty much accepted that all my fourwheelers are going to be the color option i hate the most.

fluid questions

What’s In A Name?

I just responded to new member tacosupreme and couldn’t help but wonder what the meaning was behind his screen name – does he drive a Toyota Tacoma, or does he just love tacos?

So, what’s the meaning behind your screen name? Mine is probably as lame as you can get – my initials are BDS and I’m from New Jersey, and wear it like a badge!

Dr. Mud – likes riding in mud?
BlackGrizzly, 16 Grizzly, Grizzrider08 – don’t bother responding… just kidding – we want to hear from you too.

Let’s hear from the likes of spaceman78, idigplants, dirtydeed, okbear, Grizzach, crazy, desertdweller… you get the idea.

Need help with plow strap breaking ASAP

I’m in pa and got 9 inches of snow in this storm coming through I had a motorcycle alliance plow strap on ( it’s a 2 wide i think nylon strap) it frayed and broke. Came in tried using part of a ratchet strap as a quick fix it frayed and broke. So in last option I put my syn winch cable back on to finish up it has a cable sheath on the end and it’s all frayed up now. I don’t see or feel any nicks or anything what could be causing this . I have pics of how the winch hooks up the fairlead and the damaged sheath maybe someone will see something I don’t . Since I have to buy an new plow rope what do u all recommend ? I quickly looked at am steel plow rope on motor alliances site .Attachment 24873Attachment 24881Attachment 24889Attachment 24897

2012-2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee owners

My wife is pretty interested in one of these years of GC.
I drove a 2012 the other day and noticed that there is no 4wd switches on the dash or console. I asked the dealer and he stated that it switches in and out of 4×4 automatically.
I thought it was odd that it had no switches. I didn’t have time to really dig into it, but it makes me wonder if the Laredo model has 4 low or not.

I only bring it up because it’s kind of odd (to me anyways) to call a vehicle a 4×4 without low range and without manual control. Sounds more like AWD to me.

I am interested in your experiences with these vehicles. The good, the bad, and the ugly.
