To start, I have no affiliation with Alba Racing, just a normal customer.
I wanted to take a few minutes a provide a detailed review of my interactions with Alba Racing, particularly Nate.
I have worked with Alba Racing a few times over the past few years. Nate is the guy I have always dealt with. It all started with a Big Bore build on my RZR 800. He was there to help through the entire build. I have ordered a few parts since then to upgrade other stuff. He always been amazing.
My latest adventure was way above expectation. I visited Nate at his shop in March of 2015. I scheduled to have my RZR brought in during the first week of May for an oil burning issue. He put me on the calendar. I dropped off my RZR to Nate and he explained to me the possibilities of tearing down the motor to find the oil issue.
The next day they threw my RZR on the dyno at my request to get some baseline numbers. They had the motor removed and torn apart that afternoon. Unfortunately for me, it was a worst case scenario, they had 5 days to diagnose and repair my RZR. The entire motor was pretty much trashed. Nate contacted me to give me the options for rebuilding the motor. He went from cheapest to most expensive, sharing with me his experience on gaining reliability. We chose a route and Nate made everything happen within the short time he had to repair my RZR.
The rebuild was done on time with everything I asked for. I do not spend my money easily, but Nate was a pleasure to work with. If you ever need assistance with your RZR from mild to wild, please do yourself a favor and give them a call.
Hey guys I need some help. I have a 2007 680 rincon. I ran it out of gas(oops). When I put fuel in it it would not start. I thought I may have clogged the fuel filter, so I put a new one on, and made sure I was getting fuel to the injector. Now all of the sudden it is not getting fuel, and the spark plug is not firing.
Things I’ve done: new spark plug, new coil, new plug wire. New stator/ckp sensor, checked all the fuses, checked voltage at the 33p connection on the ecm. Cussed a lot , thrown things. I have voltage at the end connection when cranking the motor from the stator, I also have the same voltage at the stator plug. One thing I did think was funny is that I’m reading voltage on both prongs on the weak side of the coil with the key on and not cranking. I ordered a 1/4 stick of dynamite from Mexico just in cas but would prefer to use it on the 4th of July. Please help, any ideas are welcome!!!!
Hi everyone, new to the site. Recently bought my first bike, a 2002 grizzly 660. Been fixing it up and learning a lot through this site, so recently decided to join. Any way, wondering if anyone can help me get to the bottom of this. My four wheel drive is not working, but I can hear the actuator when I click the button, so I assume it is trying to engage. I am new to these machines, but desperate to get this bike in top working order. Any advice on what the problem could be?
Hey all I’m not happy to say I popped the rear right inner cv boot on my new XMR:th_smiliepissed: I’ve done a boot on my first gen 1 frame but the new gen 2 frame is new to me. I’ve read I have two options, the first is unbolt the diff and slide it back just enough to pull the shaft or option two, pull the trailing arm and brake caliper. I’m stumped on which is a better choice? I must say that I’m not pleased with the under par cv boots that I do remember in the past being a more pliable rubber versus a plastic like boot! After I noticed I had a leak I poked it with my finger on a rib and it kinked and stayed that way! Maybe they are better I don’t know? Any help or tips on this project would be great as I haven’t done a boot in about 9 years. Has anyone done a video on the gen 2 frame yet? Haven’t seen any, they always make it that much easier to figure things out. Thank you in advance fellas! :th_smiliewavey:
I bought a ’14 LE 50" RZR end of last year. Since new it has squeezed horribly every time I ride it. I tried greasing everything a couple times can’t get it to go away. The squeaking is from the front suspension sounds like a bushing.
I have a coil off of a Polaris RZR 800 that I am looking to sell. Came off of a low hour machine when I did a Weber turbo swap. Worked fine when removed. Looking for $35 shipped.
