Installed these on the 1000xxc a few days ago, I am not usually into this crap but I got a 150 dollar gift card from work so I said what the heck and got these from Tricled.com.
The install was easy, the only variation I did was mount the switch in the speedo housing versus by the key switch like their instructions said.
Install took me about an hour from start to finish.
I’ve got a brand new rzr 1000. The dealer said it was the speed sensor and they changed it..it still goes out. The only thing I’ve noticed it’s every time I use my phone charger
Hey guys, been looking through the forums for awhile but just now joined. I’m looking to get a sportsman, and a good friend’s father has one. It’s a 2010 Sportsman 500 HO, carbed, 2000 EASY miles, sage green, everything is factory. I would assume the owner before him kept up on maintenance, he got two quads from the same company and the other sportsman has 7700 miles and runs great too. Plastics are decent, would clean up nice. Everything works good. He has no idea what it’s worth, I was thinking 2500-3000?
Thanks for the help

Went for a ride yesterday and we got into some moon dust. 6" of pure baby powder. The geyser of dust coming up between my legs was so thick I had to stop at times to see the trail.
I spent 6 hours today cleaning the thing. My new $40 air filter was toast. I could have completely washed and cleaned my quad in an hour.
The guys on quads had dust on their backs but their fronts were clean.
When I got home and my wife saw me she made me get undressed in the garage!!! The only place I was not black was where my dust mask was.
I pulled the windshield and rear window after cleaning everything. Hopefully the next trip will be better.
Ok, so I have a Recon 250. What do people mainly buy a recon for? WHEElIES!!! Anyway so when I quickly gas on it and I put it all the way and star on the back it just kind of wanted to die out. Why? Is it because its not getting enough air or is it made to do that?
Got my Recon out today for a little trail riding. I’m not 18 anymore, but still hit the heavily ruted trail hard. Recon beat me up. My 400 rancher on the same trails hurt less. Looking at suspension, appears similar.
How do you check your bike if the shocks/struts are good? Anything else I should check?
Thinking about putting the 25" tires on the Recon to see how they ride (if they will fit).
I recently added a homemade windshield to my rzr now it gets extremely dusty on the inside and I can’t figure out why there’s a lot of dust in my air box. can somebody help tell me what is the problem. I recently just figured out that the factory air box between the two seats is where that intake air come from. So the more dust swirling inside cocpit the more its sucking in .however I don’t know how to fix this problem with all this dust. the dust on the inside of the razor I can live with but my concern is the dust is getting in the air box its not getting past the factory filter but I would still like to correct this problem. I don’t know if so grumpy mod would solve this problem or installing a snorkel kit with a filter on the air intake tube.

I like to see what these can handle. I think I found our limit with ours. Stock suspension and stock tires. I plan on buying better tires when you want to wear out.
