foreman 450 gear reduction help

I know I’ve asked before but still trying to deside what size gr for my 99′ foreman 450s. I’m running 28" vampire edls and have found some mud that it just won’t turn them at all. Don’t think I want to do a 54% because I do ride on dirt roads some but what would be a decent % to get? Would also like to be able to possibly pull second gear in sloppy stuff because I’m always having to down shift to first and just can’t keep the momentum up in first

Picking up new rides Friday!!!

I haven’t added many posts on the forum, but I have definitely spent a lot of time over the past month reading posts and gathering info from many knowledgable and experienced forum users. Me and the missus finally pulled the trigger to sell a small lot of land and the deal closed today. After paying off a couple of credit cards, we had enough to finally make the deal! 🙂

At the end of the day, I decided to pick up a 2015 TRX420 DPS, IRS & EPS for my teenage son and a new 2015 Rubicon 500 Deluxe (Black) DPS, IRS & EPS for myself.

We added in a Honda Warn winch for both and swapped out the stock tires on both for AMS Slingshots for the stock rims. We don’t have a big selection of tires here locally and we both liked the look and reviews for the tire.

It’s the May 24 weekend (official beginning of summer here in Newfoundland) and all ATV/RV shops are swamped so we don’t get the winch and tires installed until next week, but having the bikes for the extended weekend will be a good bit of fun.

Thanks to all postors for a great site and I’m sure I’ll have even more questions over the coming months!

900 trail lift kits

So any of you guys running bracket lifts or shock relocation lifts? What brand and how they holding up? Also cv boots . Looking forward to hearing your opinions . When I jack up my rzr and let it back down it looks great and has way more ground clearance until I take it for a ride lol. For sure want to do a lift to go along with my 28 mayhems .

What’s up guys, happy to be part of the forum! I ride a 2011 Renegade 800 sitting on 14" sti hd3’s wrapped with 28" mega mayhems, RJWC slip on with a dobeck 3.5 rjwc tuner and many minor upgrades, I couldn’t figure out how to post so I’ll just ask you guys here lol. I noticed a bunch of grease on my rim after my last ride and couldn’t tell where it came from so I wiped it off and went out again and it turned out the grease is coming from my ball joint, does it need replacing?

Is it just me or????

Is Polaris putting money in other peoples pocket instead of keeping it for them. What I am saying is it seems they are making a few defective parts and it is helping the little guy out. Forum members are now making bushings and front differential parts better than what POPO does. Do other people see the same thing?

2015 Outlander L 500 DPS

Hey guys I’m new here

Went with the L 500 DPS. First ever 4×4 and only second ever ATV

Love this machine, minus the god awful design for doing absolutely any work on it.

Bought some mudguards that didn’t line up as designed with a joke for instructions.

Skid plates were a pain.

Basically every accessory i have gotten so far the instructions make me :th_smiliefrustrated

But still having fun on it and no one can tell how bad the parts look to me!!
