I have a 2016 850 with a polaris winch… the handlebar switch was coming loose and very touchy.. we were busting new trails and i think when i stood up to look around i hit the switch and sucked the hook right in, and i can’t see it.. now im not sure what to dis-assemble to retrieve the hook. Just the rollers?? Does the whole front roller assembly come off??… Any help would be great..

Hey All,
I am unable to start in gear when engaging rear hand brake or foot brake. Brake light does not come on which I believe does not complete the circuit allowing to start in gear. Where do I look to fix this? Brake light DOES come on when using front hand brake.
Thanks,
Steve
So I had my 2016 rancher 420 in 4wd for plowing the other day and then went out to do some riding after and could not disengage my 4wd. Seems like there is no tension on the lever. Could something be frozen? Has anyone else had this problem?

My older friend whom does not have access to the net, has been battling an electrical gremlin with his 87 TRX 350. Everything was working perfect until it started dieing on him when puting it into gear. It starts perfect and idles great. Most of the time it would run down the road without any problem at all but would just die every once in a while while driving. It then progressed to dieing when puting it in gear after starting up and idling without any problem. Eventually progressed to not being able to put it in gear without dieing every time.
Internet searches pointed to the fan control switch. Ordered a used one since you can’t get a new one any longer. This fixed the problem! But just for a short period of about two weeks and the same problem started again.
Is there a way to bypass the fan control switch? Or what could possibly be making this part to go bad??
