How many hrs between oil changes. Im in Fla and the bike is run is some sand and some mud. What brand oil? does it need to be wet clutch approved?
No power
I have a 2001 sportsman 500 it has been sitting for a couple of years. Before I stored it I treated the gas shut fuel valve off and ran it till it died than drained the carb.
I got it out the other day than drained the gas from the tank filled with fresh gas checked fuel filter and than pulled carb to clean. Everything looked great. Machine fired up and idle just fine. Took it for a ride and it has no power I could only go about 20 mph. I did notice the exhaust was red hot at the engine but the exhaust was coming out fine no restrictions. It got red when sitting and giving it some throttle. Any ideas why I have no power.

TRX300 front bumper
Family , friends and I have destroyed a bunch of 300 front bumpers , I used the last good one I had on my bike that my wife destroy a couple of weeks back , it was for a build I am finishing up ———-I have looked around for an after market bush guard /cow pusher but have never found one , found a new one for $100 but don’t want to pay it just to get bashed up —————– threw a couple of pieces together this evening and might be onto something , anybody out there with a custom front bumper or some ideas on how to finish this up
500 sportsman questions
Made this post in another forum, had no love figured id try here. I might be a polaris owner by the end of the week. Going to check out a 99 500, 2500 km, green, pictures show it well. The guy says the 4×4 doesn’t work and it’s electrical related, just wondering if it’s a well known issue or its some switch/solenoid/ random wire mess.

HELP! 2012 TRX250X problems!
I have a 2012 trx250x and recently when I was riding it loss compression and started singing. Once I stopped it just kept singing in the head, but It regained compression. I took the head and cylinder off it and the piston and rings looked fine but at the top of my cylinder their was a 3mm dark line on the inside. Everything else looks good but should I just bore the cylinder get a new piston and rings or just tear the engine apart to see if anything is messed up in their.

Looking at a Kodiak 450 just wondering how much weight has anyone pulled with this machine.They look like they could hall a small boat and water craft out of the water.
It looks would be a great all around family machine.
I wanted to use if for doing work around the camp.But is a 550 is a better choice?
