Just bought a 2013 Sportsman 550 EPS
Hey folks it’s been crazy for me this winter and haven’t been around much.
I just wanted to pop in and say I am picking up a 2013 550 EPS tomorrow that I got for a great price…….$6500.00
Less than 500 KM’s and it comes with front/rear brush guards, rear cargo box, windscreen, mirrors, heated grips and hopefully a tank of gas. Hahahahaha
Fingers crossed there is nothing wrong with it?
I will give it the once over before I hand him a wad of cash of course.
I’ve been looking at the 2014’s, but nobody wants to offer a great price so I had to go used.
Now I just need for the snow to melt, and the trails to open!! Hahahahaha

Mods For Known 570 Issues..Help Me Do Them Before There Is A Problem..
I’ve been reading here for a few weeks on the 570.. Thank you all for the information here ! That being said, I should have kept notes while reading.<sigh>
I have a new 2015 Touring 570 SP in my trailer right now… Besides loading it I haven’t ridden it and I’m aware there are a few "problems". I have the next week off and would like to do any (and all) of the DIY repairs/fixes to any and all of potential 570 problems. Yes, I have a warranty but if I can take a few hours, heat wrap, bend some aluminum, etc.. I would like to do that and avoid the headache..
Have you had an issue and repaired it yourself ? Please list it and tell me what you did to remedy the problem. I would rather be proactive than wait for something to show up.
Heat problem, exhaust, wrap, melting post, etc.. ??
Rear seat problem wobble ?
Anything that bugs/bugged you about the 570.. please post it.

can-am spyder need your help!
My spyder be limited , I can only rev the engine to 4500 RPMs. When I turn on the key, limp home Mode show on screen
I checked it by BUDS :
**C006C : VCM error or failure reported
U0126: Lost communication with SAS
**C0049 : Brake failure (brake fluid)
**U0126: Lost communication with SAS
I checked all the wiring connectors to make sure all were fully inserted
and I replaced SAS but fault isnt disappear
pls help a solution to fix and remove those errors. :th_smiliepullhair:

trx 300 project, one way bearing, no “outside” marked, only arrow
Had to get a new one way bearing but doesnt have an "outside" marked, only a directional arrow. I assume this is "outside" Please and thanks? STORY BELOW: I aquired a 1989 2×4 300 trx utility. Came with a good top end in a box and 2 case halves minus the works. Bought a motor from a junkyard but found drain plug cracked and stripped. Luckily I had a good case half to combine. Started with a Clymer, studied hard, highlighted, made tabs on pages. completely disassembling and combining all good parts to make a whole. (Took 52 pics to ensure a good bread trail cause I knew it would have to be done over time). I should have the engine back together by may and the frame preped soon thereafter. Very excited! Thanks
2002 magnum 500 rmk carb rebuild kit?????
Whats the deal…..I searched for hours and cant find a specific kit for 2002 magnum 500…….every other model and year…..is it the same kit as the Sportsman?

New guy intro and issue with 2005 Scrambler 500 HO
Hi there, I just bought a 2005 Scrambler and finally got it out today. I went for a ride with my son, for about 45 minutes or so, everything ran great… I let the wife take it out about an hour later and got a call from her that the quad had stranded her.
I went and found her, started things up, it ran for about 5 minutes and then backfired a bunch and then died. I let it set for a few, started it up again and the same thing happened.
Doing some reading it sounds like it could be a fouled plug or potentially a dirty fuel valve. I went to try what I thought would be the easiest first, the plug…
Where the hell is it? I can’t find anything on the actual location of the plug. I pulled off the right side panel, still don’t see it. Do I need to take off the top plastics as well? I’d love to find a diagram or anything that shows me where it is.
If you have other suggestions as to what to check I am open. It could be bad gas as well possibly, the guy I bought it from said he hadn’t run it in a couple of years.
