My white Lightning has 23 hours on it. so I thought I would go ahead and change all the fluids. when I drained the transmission / rear gear case fluid there was a spring stuck to the drain plug. I don’t know what the spring is, but it belongs to something in the transmission. Does anybody know what the spring belongs to? Anybody familiar with the internals of the new transmissions?

Disc brake conversion
I need to replace the drums and shoes on my 03 rancher and saw that a conversion kit is about 50-60$ more. Is it worth it to switch?
Starting issue
We have a 2014 570 and I replaced a battery about 3 weeks ago. We are having some starting issues. When you turn the key it sounds as though it has a dead battery again. Other times it is as though we do not have the break pushed down enough. It was suggested that when the stereo system was installed that we may have a ground wire problem. Thoughts?:redrzr:
Yet another blown motor
I’ve seen plenty of info on this forum regarding blown motors and now it’s happened to me. 2012 900 with 700 miles. I purchased it brand new in ’12. Dealer has it torn apart and determined catastrophic failure due to failed connecting rod. Actually put a 6" hole right through the case and shattered a piston. No other damage or burning whatsoever to other engine components including the bearings. Also purchased extended warranty through Polaris (Assurant) with expiration in August of ’15 and they are NOT covering it; claiming oil should have been changed 7 TIMES regardless of miles on the engine.
Anyone out there with a similar issue?
Sick dog?
My dad recently bought an older dog that has tested positive for heart worms. I’ve read about different treatments for this. My vet said to put him on a preventative because the test only showed three dots on it. We always gave our dogs 1/10 of a cc of ivomec bought at the feed store as a preventative but I’ve read this doesn’t kill adult worms. I also read it does but when they die it can kill the dog too. I know the vet can treat the dog but it is done with arsenic and can also kill the dog. So as y’all can see, I’m very confused…any help? Thanks
