Well, got the bad news today. My 2014 RZR 800 LE EPS engine is shot. Mechanic called today and told me that it has a bent rod, possible bent crankshaft, a key on the flywheel came out and ate up the flywheel, and a couple other things. A new engine is $5,000+; a rebuild is about $3,600+; or I can buy a new 900 for a little over $13k. I have about $1,200 in accessories that won’t fit the 900.
Then he asked how much I would want to sell it for? Honestly, I have no idea of its worth, so I’m here to get some opinions. Your thoughts are appreciated…..
My 14 year old is taking his recon to the beach with his grandparents. I told him not to run it in the water because of corrosion. He told me his papaw would wash it with a pressure washer and it would be okay. I told him that it doesn’t matter he could still have damage from the water. Could y’all guys tell him that I am right and some of the damage it could cause thanks.
I moved to Colorado recently and we had to get an OHV sticker to ride on most public trails here. But, I didn’t want to stick them on the paint, so I made this. It just bolts on through one of the front rack openings.
I was curious if anyone else has done something like this and if they’ve had any issues with it.

New to forum and love the feedback so far!!! My question.. bought this quad and ran fine for a month.. developed a bad tick so I opened up the rocker box and noticed the rockers were cashed… so having it opened already installed new rockers new stage 1 cam and new cam chain and sprocket!! Ran like a raped ape for a month! !! Now the ticking came back, opened it up again and rockers are cashed again!!!! The arm looks discolored from high temps.. but I’m actually running a little rich.. checked oil filter and that is installed right and seems to be plenty of oil in the top end!! Wth can possibly cause this!! Please help!!
Contemplating Beard 4 point harnesses for my new RZR 4 900.
I like the look of these due to having automotive style buckles. Question is, are they hard to attach and remove if you need to remove seat? Do they attach to the handrail in the back of the front seats? Planning to keep stock seats. Is there a 3" model out there with auto style buckle?
Just put 26×14 tires and wheels on our 2010 Rzr 800 and what a difference it makes. The ride is much improved and the ground clearance(lift) is awesome. Should have done this years ago. No spacers needed with the Polaris positive offset wheels I got and the width is only 55". Kept the original wheels and tires for riding the 50" trails in Utah, but otherwise I will be using the new set up.
