Utah ride locations with snow

Bought myself a new rzr xp4 1000 a couple weeks ago and have taken it out a couple times and haven’t found anywhere great to ride. I went up Spanish fork canyon to diamond fork and learned it was closed to snowmobiles only. I am in Utah county and wondering where there are some snow packed roads or trails where I can ride right now that are somewhat close. At least a place where I am legal to ride and won’t be buried in snow. My neighbors are getting sick of me doing laps around my neighborhood!

Also if anyone is familiar with Ant Flat Road my in laws have a cabin up there and they tell me it’s inaccessible right now. I would love to prove them wrong.

Alberta Tire Recommendation

Looking for new tires for my XP1K here in Alberta and would like an opinion from other Alberta riders on a tire that works well in the terrain that we ride in but is also more durable than the stock Bighorns. Lots of differing opinions on tires here on the forums but I would appreciate feedback from the people that understand what we ride on. The snow 8 months of the year then the tar-like mud and muskeg in between plus the dry, wickedly rocky trails.

Im looking at the ITP Blackwater Evolution’s currently thinking that they are durable and have a fairly aggressive tread that should be fairly self-cleaning in the mud and snow. But I love the look and durability of the Tensor Regulators too but there doesnt seem to be a definitive opinion on their performance in mud and snow.

Any AB rider thoughts?

Top end rebuild

Anyone in the Washington Oregon British Columbia area. Ever do a top and rebuild on a rzr XP.. Need a top and rebuild don’t know if I want to take it to a dealership or not and I don’t know how difficult it is to do myself

New Oregon owner

Been here a couple weeks reading and checking everything out. Dealt with Chuck over at trail star audio already as the previous owner of my RZR had a big heaping pile of stereo wires in it and I wanted to clean it up. Went with a MTX Bluetooth controller as my first upgrade ive done in the 3 weeks ive owned it.

Moving on bought this bad boy about 3 weeks ago and still haven’t had time to go ride it 🙁 I’ve been riding a YFZ 450 for about 5 years and took a tumble down Banshee hill @ winchester bay dunefest in 2014 and shattered my collar bone and broke a couple ribs and totaled the bike. So I decided to finally upgrade to something with a cage and a seat belt. Looking forward to talking to you guys and exploring all the trails I cant go to anymore around OR and WA. Any direction to a good place to find good rzr riding places please let me know. Im out in Oregon city BTW.
