Q & A please…

Ok so I made the 9 hour round trip to abernathys…not as bad as I thought in my 2 dr jeep. Still long though, ugh. Got home at 11:30 pm!
Shae the salesman told me a couple things that puzzled me. First if you leave the key on for more than five min. your eps will shut down and have to be taken to dealer to be turned back on….huh?? And when driving less than 20 mph you have to put it in low gear or the belt will get too loose and get screwed up….
When we strapped it on the trailer the only place it seemed you could put the straps in the front was on the bumper….so what if you don’t have a bumper where do you strap it? He didn’t know…
And he took the cover off the bed and said when I power wash it I had to lay a rag over the clutch vent or I would get water in the clutch and ruin it….didn’t the engineers know people will be power washing these???
Lastly I got up this morning and was looking at the bill of sale and at the top it said price of rzr 17444. The internet price was 16444. So what they list it with the rebates included? Then you also see rebates and low interest on the site and think your also getting those? I have to call today and ask about that… And one more thing…lol. How is it they are so cheap but when I go to the Polaris site and build my rzr 1000 the same way it is just about the same price??? Dang does that mean I didn’t have to drive 9 hrs to get a rzr??? There is two Polaris dealers within 35 minutes where I live in Indiana….
I hope you guys can shed some light on these issues for me. It will be greatly appreciated!

Scrambler 500

So I just picked up an 09 scrammy 500 4×4 and Ive spent hours looking for aftermarket parts for it and it has been a nightmare. Does anyone know where would be a good place to look? Specifically, I’m looking for bodywork, handlebars, and aluminum wheels with more offset. Thanks fellas!

Help Me Make A Decision

I’m wanting to buy either a Rzr 1000 or a Rzr S 900. I only ride trails in WV and wasn’t sure which machine you all would recommend. Looks like the trailing arm on the 1000 would ride considerably better, but looks like the 900 S would handle the trails more quickly, especially on the switchbacks. I’m moving up from a commander, so I stand to have a significant improvement on suspension either way. I’m not convinced the 1000 is worth the extra money since I don’t need that much motor. Please comment asap because I’m making my decision today!

2002 Polaris 700 Sportsman – Spark issues

First and for most… a hugh "thanks" to all the help this forum has alreadybeen for me.

However, I’m still looking for help with a problem I’m having with my 2002 Polaris 700 Sportsman.

Problem…Steady spark on the right side plug. Very sparatic spark on the left.

First, I’ll start with whats been done…
New plugs…twice
Tune up
Carb rebuilt
New magneto

I have purchased a new stator coil and sensor, however I have NOT installed them yet…ran out of money…:-(

My question is. Is there anything else I can testbefore installing the stator coil and sensor??

Engine die without notice!! NO OIL

I recently took my 2013 xp 900, less than 80hrs for a ride into the dunes outside of the city Wasn’t smoking any. Took off up a dune an lost all power my engine began to repeatedly die without notice.

I couldn’t see a leak anywhere checked had barely a drop of oil on the dipstick!!

I continued to take the engine apart and found the rod bearing to be spun (journal 4)

where did the oil go?

piece of advice check your oil every time

How to load rzr in Toy Hauler

Hello,

I’m going to attempt to load my RZR into my Toy hauler.

Do I HAVE to have my toy hauler hooked up to my truck, to keep the front of it from flopping into the air when I drive the rzr up the ramp ?

it is a 25′ bumper pull, I would have the stabilizing jacks down ..

thanks
