Whats a good slip on exhaust and clutch kit combo

I am looking to get more low end and mid range out of my 07 800 sportsman. I have looked at several slip on exhaust and clutch kit combos. Just wanted to see if anybody on here had a good gain from that kind of setup. My quad is completly stock at the moment but it really doesn’t have a lot of low end torque. I’d like to pull more off the line and in the mid range. I ride a lot of windy trails. I was hoping to do this without a fuel controller.

Secondary dropped a rivet, wreaked havoc on my sheaves!

Hey guys,

Long time lurker, first time posting. I have a 2010 700 Grizzly, I was doing my spring maintenance last night and pulled the cover off the clutches. Lo and behold, the secondary dropped a rivet causing quite a bit of damage to the sheaves and the belt (I’ll add a few pics later on). I spoke with a guy at one of the local shops here, he figures they can machine the primary sheaves to fix em up a little bit and get them usable again. But the secondary is pooched. Any of you guys have a line on good used secondary clutches anywhere? Not having a lot of luck with Google and eBay. Any help would be much appreciated!

Need help with CV Tech clutch.

I have a ’11 XMR 800 with an Airdam CV Tech clutch. Went riding the other day and after about a mile on a flat graded trail I suddenly went from tons of power to no power and not being able to get the machine above 20mph. If I got it up to about 22mph I started hearing some noise from the belt housing. I brought it to a shop and even they are stumped by it. It’s definitely something in the clutch, though. I’ve been calling Airdam but no luck on getting through yet. Anyone have some ideas?

Main Drive chain?

I have the main drive chain off for cleaning and lubricating. I noticed a small amount of wear on the bottom of the side links of the chain, otherwise looks good. Any reason why I should not just flip it over to the other side when installing?
thanks

Pro Armor 5 points

I installed 2" 5pts by Pro Armor. Discovered a interesting fitment problem. The 5th point was installed to the frame member below the seats in my xp1000. Due to the Pro Armor 5th point being sewed in a loop with the adjuster they were to long at their shortest adjustment. They were 6 to 8 " out of the seat cutout. No way to compensate. So I bought 2 crow 5th point belts that are not looped and cut my Pro Armors off. Problem solved. I feel its a bad design and could be fixed by doing away with the loop sewn around the anchor point. If You do consider the Pro Armor and want 5 pts buy their 4 pt and add crows 5th point belt. I should have bought the Crows in the first place. My fault for not investigating more.:rm_thumbdown:
