I dropped some we 40 in it and let it sit for a couple hours but to no avail. how bad is this? I mean is it gonna hurt the engine? how can I fix. or repair?

New to me Rancher

Hey guys, new to the forum as I just picked up an 06 Rancher.

Its a 4×4 with foot gear change (i’m hesitant to call it manual as there is no clutching required) its non push button gear changing….

Its my understand that flavor did not come with the electronic dash, and that there is no way to put a stock one on. Because of this, there is no way to know the number of hrs or miles on the machine.

Are both of those correct?

It needs brakes, I’m going to order the disk brake conversion kits.

Any recommendations on which trail tech "dash" computer to get?

Any other maintenance issues i should look to address? (oil change etc)

Primary use will be around my hobby farm doing farm stuff. Only very occasional trail use.

CloudCroft New Mexico Trails

Will be in the cloudcroft area
Might take the 900xp 4
Looking for roads or trails to sitesee on
Don’t want any mudslinging waterfall climbs or tree stump jumps
Will be taking parents so a gentle ride will be a 80 % must.
Can we drive a Rzr into town and get gas?
Thanks for the replies

adjust swing arm 450r

I recently baught a 400ex and my friend baught a nice 07 450r.
We went trail riding this past weekend and I did so much better then him but that was already expected between the two
He is a bigger guy and I was wondering if we could adjust his swing arm at all so he had more ground clearance in the middle?

Gbc dirt commander questions

I really like the dirt commanders on my 900S, but I wish they were a little taller and I wanna move up to 14" sti hd5 beadlocks. How true are the tire sizes for the dirt commander? Mine are only 25" tall with 10psi in the stock 27s.

If I move up to 29×14, will I need to put in a clutch kit and will it cause axle problems? Will they even fit a stock 900S? I mostly ride trails and only go through the mud when I have to, so I know that’ll minimize some of the problem right there. I do plan on eventually getting the 1.5" offset high clearance arms so that’ll help fitment as well
