I have a new 2015 Outlander L 500 and just read someone talking about a learner key that gives less power, is this the case for the L 500? I have two keys with mine, one has a black rubber BRP grip and the other is just plain silver, both ends of the keys look identical.
Also, I can’t seem to find the RPM view on the digital display. I’ve cycled through the settings on the button to the right of the display and it only seems to have MPH, hours, miles and a clock. Any ideas? This is the non DPS model if that makes a difference since I’m pretty sure I saw digital RPM view on the DPS model. I would also like to change the digital greeting message and be able to turn off maintenance notifications since I plan on doing them myself, surely there’s a way to do this without taking it back to the dealer like a plug in I can buy from somewhere to program it? Does it have to be the same BRP dealer that I bought it from? They’re over an hour away from me and there’s a local Honda/Polaris dealer close to me, would they be able to change the messages if I can’t?
It’s ridiculous of how much small stuff the dealership tries to milk money out of people with.
07 sportsman 800 will turn over good but won’t start getting spark fuel good compression 12.2 volts while cranking new t bap harness won’t even try to hit just smell gas have tried everything can’t figure it out any help would be a great
2001 sportsman 90. I took the carburetor apart yesterday. Cleaned it out completely. I found a few things I had not seen before and man were they dirty. So I put it back together slapped it in and went to adjusting. Now the odd thing is I had the mixture screw all the way in and that’s where it was running the best. Still lacked a little power up hill but ran at least 2 hours never having to push the atv to get it going. First time it has done that. The bad thing is it smokes more than it should and the snappy 2 stroke power isn’t there (yes I know it’s only a 90) so any ideas on what to do? I finally got a repair manual and was looking at the clips on the needle jet could this help?
Here is the perfect solution to store a tire jack on your XP 1000. This is easy to install and easy to remove when you get a flat out on the trail. CAGE WRX makes a Jack & Mount that mounts on the side of your bed, Driver or Passenger Side.
Hey guys so I’m trying to do the front pads on my 07 trx 400 ex And having a fun time. I can’t seem to get the caliper piston in all the way to get the new pads over the rotor. I have the reservoir cap off and used a c clamp to compress them but still won’t fit over the rotor. I can squeeze my brake handle and the piston moves in and out freely not frozen or anything. So my question here is what am I missing? how far in is the piston supposed to be? I don’t want to damage anything
We are finally getting some nice spring weather up here in Maine and I am anxious to take out my new (to me) 2014 RZR 570. The last accessory I have to install is my middle seat and harness. I like to think that I am fairly inclined, but this harness and lack of instructions, have me baffled. I’m sure I am over thinking this, but I understand how the seat and lap belt mount. The one thing that is holding me up is how/where the shoulder belts are secured. They came with a bolt setup, but I’m not sure if I’m supposed to bolt them to the roll cage? or if I wrap them around the roll cage and bolt them to where the lap belt goes? or neither of those options?
Any pictures or advice from others who have installed the middle seat would be beyond appreciated.
