Hey folks, i’m new to this site so any help would be appreciated. I have an 01 xplorer 250 4×4 that was given to me. The engine was locked up. I pulled the jug off and looked down into the crankcase and noticed some rust. I was able to get it to rotate about a half turn. I guess my question is, is there oil that should go in this crankcase and if so what type and amount. Also is there anything I can put in to let sit to see if it will free it up. I had someone tell me one time that they have put diesel fuel in them for a few days to get them to loosen up. I’m just trying to keep from having to pull the case out and tear it down. Again thanks for an help.

noise complaint ng from the right side of motor
Anyone have a grinding noise like a bearing going out on the right side if the engine? At least that is were it seems to be coming from. Sometimes its not there? My 570 only gas 5 hrs on it. Going to take it in to the dealer. Just was wondering if others are having the same issue.

I just bought a superwinch, and I am starting to wire the unit. Where should place the solenoid. I have to cut the plastic for winch to fit is that the norm.

Gaia GPS Phone App Anyone else using it?
Seems like a pretty cool app for tracking your rides with your phone
I like how you can save your rides and it tracks all your stats
It would be cool if we all started posting our rides on certain trails
This one was the back road up to Mt Lemmon in Tucson AZ. I had to take it a little slower because I had my wife an daughter…plus it’s a pretty heavily traveled road so you never know what’s coming around the next corner. Much of the upper part of the ride is mountainside on one side of the road DANGER YEAH!!
