Air box

Hello everyone I was looking to see if anyone has come up with a better air box than the stock on the 2015 rzr s 900 ? I can see that the stock one does not seal very well and the lid is held on with rubber straps . I would like to ad snorkles but don’t see a bennifit if dirt and water can get past this cover. Thanks

1″ pipe lift WOW

I made up 4 aluminum spacers and just took it for my first ride. Wow what a difference. No diving over jumps and this machine will now wheeling with a blip of the throttle. Was on gravel and put it low, I almost flipped her when I punched it. It would only wheelie before if I really hopped on it to compress the rear suspension. It is now a monster no joke. I was considering a clutch but definitely don’t need it anytime soon. I put the front cams at the factory setting and the rear is cranked right up. Seams to be perfect. Also gained 1.5" of clearance underneath unloaded. Best mod to date hands down.Attachment 27458Attachment 27459

RZR 800 / 900 TricRings Interest Poll

Hello Everyone,

Since we launched recently with our TricRings for XP 1000 / XP 4 1000 models, I have been bombarded with inquiries for fitment of other RZR models.

Seems like the headlight housing for the RZR 800 / 900 is the most common out there across all the models.

If there is enough interest, we would go ahead and design, prototype and manufacture a version to fit the light housing below. Price would be the same $199.95 per pair, shipped and color offering would be Red, White, Blue, Yellow and Green.

Let us know the level of interest by responding to this poll

My ’04 TRX400EX has no spark

I need to make sure I’m on the right track here. I think I am, but thinking seems to be getting me in trouble lately, so…

I have a 2004 Honda TRX400EX that’s been stored for a couple years. I can’t get it started. The first thing I did was clean the carb, but that didn’t help. I noticed that I wasn’t getting any spark and verified that by pulling the plug out, grounding it and cranking the motor over. I found a repair manual online and started going through the ignition troubleshooting guide. I do not have a peak voltage adapter, but my Fluke multi-meter has a setting for max voltage. I don’t know if that would be accurate enough, but it’s what I have so I went with it.

The ignition primary peak voltage gave me nothing. When I tested the exciter coil peak voltage at the ICM, my meter quickly maxed out at OL, but the live readings were in the .002-.007 range. When I tested it at the exciter coil connector near the alternator, I got nothing again. The next step was to check the ignition pulse generator at the ICM, which I just realized I somehow forgot to do. I did check it near the alternator though and once again, got nothing.

If my tests are anywhere in the neighborhood of accurate, the manual tells me that my ignition pulse generator is bad. It also mentions something about replacing the stator, but not directly. Any opinions on which I should look at swapping out first?

On your pre-ride checklist……

Seems a simple thing, but I don’t know how long mine has gone without it, though there is only about 30 miles on it. The rubber strap on the battery is an awful piece of crap, and mine proved it somewhere along the way. While looking at it the other day, I found mine half-there. Looks almost like somebody cut it, it was so perfectly sliced. At any rate, there was one S hook and about a third of the rubber there, with nothing holding the battery down. A bungee cord is going to be double wrapped around it this time-I’m not buying another likely overpriced piece of crap.

Need help with wiring light bar switch

need some help wiring up my switch for a 30" light bar. Basically I have a hot wire (red), ground (black), and a yellow wire that comes from the relay. I bought a rocker style switch to use instead of the push on/off style one that came with the harness. On the new switch there are 5 prongs. I’m pretty dumb when it comes to electrical work so help is needed here. Where do they go?
