I was in my local auto parts store and I saw a greasing attachment. Its a surgical needle that attaches onto the end of a grease gun. A rubber boot or rubber joint cover can be punctured and grease pumped inside.
I am always looking for ways to increase the life of my buggy. Since our 570’s have rubber boots and rubber joint covers, is it a good idea to pump grease inside?
Hi all – I am hoping some of the members can help me trouble shoot an issue. I am at wits end trying to find the problem.
I have a 2011 900XP which quit on me while riding the other day. When it quit, I was riding on a flat road at about 10 mph. Before that, I had been in sand and some trails, but had ridden on the flat road for roughly 1/2 mile. Here is the information and what I have tried:
– NO SPARK –
– Gauges and all other electrical items (lights, etc.) work.
– The crank position sensor has been checked at swapped. Both test at 1017 ohms. (proper number is 1000 ohms +/- 10%)
– The coil measures at 2.2 ohms on each part of the primary side (1-2 and 2-3). Book says 0.4 ohms. I have never seen a coil fail both sides at once and a shorted coil should be lower resistance.
– No error codes
– I have checked the fuse box and did not find anything.
– I have checked the main ground and it is clean and solid contact.
– The RZR has aftermarket shoulder harnesses and a chopped cage. I have heard of a switch for the seat belt but can not find it.
I am assuming it is a switch or a wire that is cut somewhere. Shy of taking the whole thing apart, where should I start looking and are there any other likely suspects?
I have a 2013 RZR 900 XP4 with stock Maxxis Bighorns and have a trail ride planned but there would be 18 miles of paved roads to get to the trail. Is 36 miles of pavement going to wear my tires down a lot? Should I inflate them to max psi for the pavement and then back them down for the dirt?
Awhile back I saw some pictures on here of a custom roll cage, it almost looked like a little version of gravedigger…quite a square/boxxy design, and ran right back overtop of the bed to the back of the machine. Similar to an SUV…
If anyone has pictures or can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it. Need some inspiration before I start a custom cage build. Thanks in advance!
I have 2014 xmr with 32" terminators and wanting to do some clutch upgrades,
Want some opinions on the best route to go, should I get a primary from vforcejohn or would a secondary spring suffice
When I drive on tarmac, the steering wheel starts to sahke at 45mph and stops shaking at 50mph. I have checked the front wheels for dirt or gunk that could unbalance it but found none.
I have a 500 and a 570 touring and was looking to find some riding gear that is water proof. like comp 5 off road boots by fox, and the same style of pants.
Anyone running this? I have a 30" clear lense light bar and am thinking about running a 10" Amber led on my bumper. I want to keep the large bar clear because most my riding is not too dusty but want the Amber light to occasionally cut through the dust. Would that small of an Amber light bar do anything to help?
