Hi im new to the the scrambler just got a 2015 xp 1000. Always had motocross bikes or quads this is my first 4×4 I just came off an 2009 crf 450. Im look for Some performance mods and look for some input on whats the best. Right now im looking at big gun full exhaust and there tfi power box as a start. Also look at qsc clutch kit any other mods I can do or is this a good start thanks for any help

I have a 425 that I am rebuilding. Been in the family since new sat in the barn for 3 years. It is running however when I give it some fuel it starts backfiring and bogging down. Second while it is running a slapping noise comes from the clutch area. Where do I begin to trouble shoot the two items. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
experts have a question
I am replacing the cam chains so I have the heads off the machine. I look through the intake and exhaust side and can see the valves are not seated. I can see lots of day light in between valve seat and valve. Is this normal? Bike is an 07 outlander 650

Hello all. I purchased a Can Am outlander 450 L a couple of weeks ago. I know a lot of people who ride Can Am so I decided to go with the 450. No regrets so far. Has plenty of power for what I needed. Mostly just wanted a quad to ride trails with the wife and kids. My son has a Polaris predator 50. And my wife has a Kawasaki prairie 360. Now that my wife has ridden the Can Am I usually get stuck with the crappy suspension on the Kawasaki. Being a brand new model I know this is a long shot but are there any performance mods yet? Does the gosh I pipe from can am fit this model? Anyway I thought I would introduce myself. And any mods that anybody knows of would be great.
New (to me) trx90 and new member
Traded out some electrical work for a 2006 Trx90. My daughter is 7 and has been riding a Kymco Mongoose 90 for 2.5 years (time to shift). On Wednesday I ordered a Teixeira Tech 3.5" over arms with Fox Floats front and back. Can’t wait to get her going. Anyway just changed the oil, cleaned out the carb, put in fresh gas and battery. Runs like a champ. Sat most it’s life and stock to the bone. When she’s ready (soon I’m sure) I’ll do the bolt on things.
I read to cut the pink wire? Is there a CDI i can change out or is cutting the pink wire the same result? So just air cleaner (soon) and a pipe way down the road. We live in central Ca. and desert, dune and trail ride equally.

Hi guys, is there anywhere I can download a free service manual for an 05-08 grizzly 80?
Heres my issue….. Picked this thing up used, has flaws that I have been correcting. First thing was the key switch so I got a cheapy off ebay for the time being. JUNK. the nut that holds it to the front fender is already stripped so Im gonna have to luge the threads up with some silicone sealer or something to keep it tight. But it was working……
Some idiot put the wrong battery in there and it was dead and thats why my issues has started. The battery was bone dry but would still illuminate the neutral light. I THOUGHT I might be able to get some life out of it if I put some distilled water in it. Its an everstart battery from wal-mart if that makes any difference at all. Now, I have no power and when I hook up a jumper box I get nothing. Neutral light will night light up. Everything is dead. Im stuck here with no manual. I checked the inline fuse and some *** hole wrapped tin foil around it because it was burned out and they were too lazy to get a new one. Im hoping I didnt put a power surge through it and fry out the rectifier or CDI……

Underpowered 500 sportsman year 2000
I have a 2000 sportsman 500, it has been a very reliable machine. Taking it in the road, it seems underpowered and although I have the thumb throttle is fully pressed.i won’t reach full power and seems very noisy around the air intake box, I have had it serviced to try and cure the problem, new spark plug, ht lead,new air filter, carb cleaned and serviced, any help would be appreciated,
TRX250 won’t shift to neutral
Hey guys, great site, thanks for all the info and advice so far.
I have a 2002 TRX250 TM2 that sometimes has a hard time switching to neutral. Like right now, its off and no matter which direction I try to shift, no neutral. It doesn’t always happen, just sometimes.
Am I doing something wrong or do I need a fix?

660 Griz carb leak
2008 grizz and i have fuel comig from the small tube that connects t the bottom of the bowl. Runs great ,but the fuel leaks when ya shut it down. help

I am wondering why the 550 and 700 have disc brakes in the rear and not a sealed wet brake like the 450?
