Currently ride my 07 raptor 700 and love it, my GF has a Suzuki Z400 which seems to always have problems. We normally ride at Wayne National Forest on trails which are 50" so rzr is basically my only sidebyside option. These trails are 1 lane and mostly around cliffs with many bridges and other items.
We’re huge sport quad fans and love light, fast manual 2wd atv’s but our daughter is now 9 and is old enough to ride with us in a side by side, so we’re planning on selling the z400 and getting a rzr800. My buddy just picked up a can am outlander 800 and I’m not a fan at all. It’s fast but can’t handle turns or jumps like mine, will the RZR be very similar to a normal UTV or a bit better because of the suspension. His ATV has very poor suspension which is most of his issues but he likes it.
on a used RZR800 is there anything i should be looking for? are there any buying guides anywhere? i know there’s a ton of options and aftermarket parts for these things, what should i look for or buy to get a similar experience to a raptor? Still not sure if me or my GF is going to be the main rider.
I know these are lots of fun and are great quads, just used to high speed/high risk riding where climbing up muddy hills and getting stuck is part of the fun.
what air filter is everyone using on there 570? stock/aftermarket , I looked for a k/n but all I could find was a uni I like k/n that’s what I have on my truck and my street bike and they work great
What do you guys use if anything when you bring your buddy with you? I was looking online and the things that I’m seeing are not much better then just tying my dog down with a rope lol.
Right now she just sits in the passengers seat and I drive so she dosent get tossed around the cab, but sometimes she moves at a bad time and she will slip off the seat.
Also has anyone made any custom seats? My dog bairly fits on the passengers seat and I was thinking of making something so she has more room. Probably something with sides. Just looking for ideas.
hello I recently picked up a 2005 grizzly 660 has 5k miles I got it not running I am having problems getting it running it has spark , I took of the valve inspection cover and they are moving , I can turn it over with and without the spark plug in it but about every 5 turns it seems like it wants to luck up but you can pull harder and it will spin easy again any ideas would be greatly appreciated thanks
So after I swamped my grizz last year,I ordered a kit from snorkel my atv. I have to say I am not happy. It has issues including having a 45 in stead of a 90 in one spot. Now my tire hits the tube. But that’s just a small problem. I followed everything to the tee and it seems there is a leak.
Don’t even know where to start to try and fix it.
Well….. I finally sold the bikes and got into something with a cage! I have a young family and it was time to move into a safer off road adventure!
Picked up a 15 Rzr41k and I’m enjoying the transition so far!

I am in need of new tires on my Magnum 425 4×4, and was thinking of getting Zillas. Unfortunately I can not get a set for the stock rims (12×6 front 10×8.5 rear) that I was just going to sandblast and paint. So now I am thinking of buying 12"Delta rims, and putting 25" or 26" Zillas on them. As I am new to owning a ATV, and know little about tires, I was wonder what people with a bit more experience thought of this. I ride 50% soft dirt, 30% hard trail, and 20% mud.
My big questions are:
Am I going to wear out Zillas too fast?
How are the Zillas going to compare to the Dunlop 25x12x10s that I had?
How is a 425cc going to handle these rims and tires
