Wide tires on stock rzr 900 xp

XC vs Trail
I’m new to the forums and before joining I did a little digging here but can’t seem to find an answer.
I’m in the market for a new RZR, however I am having a bit of a tough time deciding between two models, that being the 2015 900XC and 900 trail EPS
On the polaris site it states that the xc had 12.5 inches of ground clearance vs the trail at 11. If the suspension outside of the fox shocks is the same, where does the extra height come from?
Also, i need some opinions from owners of the two machines as to which way i should go.
Where I ride is alot of narrow trails but not really mandated 50", there is also likely going to be some mud riding. I want to be able to BE 50" if i need to, but also not a big deal if I’m over most of the time. SO, should i get the xc and run more positive offset for 50", or get a trail and run stock for 50" and do more negative offset for more stability? Are the extras on the XC worth the money? Any forseeable difference for future mods for mud riding between the two?
Any opinions are welcome.
Thanks guys!

2015 rzr 4 900s
about to pull the trigger on a new 4 seat 900. i have been on a quad most of my life and have been riding the windrock/brimstone trails for about 6 years on a Z400. love it. my crew has added quite a few SxS’s over the years, but no 4 seaters.
do any of you guys have experience with a 4 seater on these trails. i am willing to sacrifice a 3 point turn here or there for the added passengers (my wife and son). watching random youtube videos, seems like the majority of the trials would be doable.
thoughts?
thanks!!!

2011 Polaris Sportsman 850xp eps rear cargo lock n ride box
I keep seeing options for the "Touring Sportsman" but not the regular Non-Sportsman model.
I keep finding options with the pt# 2878154 …will this fit a regular Sportsman 850 or just the Touring style?
If not can anyone please recommend a rear cargo box (Manuf. Name and Part #) for the 2011 Polaris Sportsman 850xp EPS model.
pics would help a lot! 😉
Please advise?
Thanks in Advance
