New member in PA

Hey everyone. I’m Cody from PA. I’m not new to riding but haven’t been able to in a few years. Finally, the stars aligned and I was approved for a loan. I’m waiting on a 2014 Honda 400x to arrive in 1-2 days and I can’t wait! Old rides inc. 98 yz80. 04 klx125. 01 jr80. 01 banshee. 84 rm80 and last 1983 KTM 420mxc. The Honda 400x is my first Honda and after riding different bikes and quads, I’m thrilled to have a Honda. Awesome forum and can’t wait to ride!

Who makes custom A-arms?

I’m trying to find someone to build a custom set of a arms for an 800 rzr.

Basically looking for S length, high clearance, with forward, and rearward offset, with xp1k ball joints, or heim joints in the front.

I have tried backwoods armor, and ORB. Apparently neither of them is interested because they won’t even respond to my questions.

I tried special carriers also but he said he’s to busy and will be for a while.

So who out there builds a arms and will customize them? They need to be high quality.

Any advice is appreciated.

’12 XP9 White Lightning

It’s time to pass ownership of this beast to someone who’ll use it.

It just got back in my possession after an extensive motor rebuild as a result of dust ingestion(well known problem Polaris continues to deny exists).

It’s got 4300 miles on it, tons of goodies, and is ready for a new owner.

I’d keep it but my son has lost interest in it as a result of becoming interested in riding on two wheels.

I put it on CL (’12 XP9 White Lightning). I’m happy to take additional pics and send to any member, just let me know.

Tire presure

Just curious as to what people run for tire presure and on what tires. I have found that really rough trail the bike handles better at about 5 psi and on light trail around 8 psi thats on carlisle radial act 26" 570 sportsman.

1997 honda foreman 400 front diff problems

Hey guys! having alot of trouble trying to split the front differential case on my 97 honda foreman 400. more like im having trouble getting the front cv shafts to come out. Everything ive read said the shafts should just come out with a hard tug. We’ve had some strong guys pull super hard on them and still will not come out. we’ve had em pull from both sides and they wont budge. Ive tried prying and putting on the ground and tugging and nothing! if somoene could tell me what im doing wrong or some way to get these out it would be great!

New here from Utah

First time poster, but no new to reading threads here. I have a 98 Sportsman 500 and a 93 Sportsman 450. So I posted this in the Sportsman section as well then found this forum. Sorry if I’m not suppose to double post.

So I picked up a 93 sportsman model W938039, (I was told it was a 400, but motor says 350)(2 stroke) I picked it up fairly cheap and will be fixing it up for my wife to ride with me. They said it sat for 3 years. I cleaned out the gas tank, fuel lines, filter and Carburetor (3 times), I also checked the exhaust for blockage. Here is my issue…..After cleaning everything out I can get the engine to purr and rev up nicely. When i take it for the test drive it will accelerate and then when I go to coast it starts popping (assuming from back pressure) very loudly but then runs rough and dies. After this happens I cannot get it to start back up. The exhaust would pop so much that it would blow the exhaust off the engine hole. Any help on this would be very appreciated. It has done this 2 times after i get everything cleaned out.

wheels and tires

have an 800 xc and thinking about another set of wheels and tires so i can run 50 inch trails. ive read here that sti makes a 6 1 offset wheel that will keep me 50 inch question is what tire size will i use? if anybody is running the sti setup on your machine please chime in. dont want to make a 1000 dollar mistake. thanks. 14 inch wheels is what i want.
