spitting and sputtering when in water

Hello all. I have a 2011 sportsman 500 HO. I modded the stock muffler(which I now hate) added a K&N air filter, rejetted the carburetor, and changed the spark plug. Now when I go thru deep enough water to just possibly come over the floor boards and sometimes not even that deep it will start cutting out and barely make it through. I put dielectric grease in the spark plug wire and it still does it. Any ideas on what it could be?

More comfortable….new guy

Hello everyone, 1st time here-just joined. I just bought a 2006 Kodiak 450. Original owner, 1600 miles, winch, plow, excellent shape. Anyway, have/had motorcycles, rode plenty of quads, but this my first one.
Single dad, always with my son. Sold the Harley cuz he’s 7 and can’t ride with him, so I figure going out on the quad is the way to go. Now there’s a Koplin storage box on the rear rack with a small cutout for a passanger, but no cushions. I want him comfortable and not really concerned about having tons of storage. I could go with a front bag/box for that.

Ok— do I go with a hard box with seat like a Tamarack or go with a soft bag with seat? Which would be more comfortable for him? My fender protectors just came in with the foot pegs for him.

2013 Commander 1000 whooping noise only when accelerating

Hey guys I’m new to the site and would like to thank u in advance for any help. I have a 2013 commander 1000 with 610 miles on it. Last week the rear axle broke in the hub on the rear right side. I had to replace the brake caliper, rotor, wheel bearing, and axle. I noticed a noise when I got it back together and test drove it that seems to be getting worse. As I start to accelerate it sounds like a rubbing noise that gets worse the faster I go. It stops as soon as I let off the pedal though. I touch the pedal again it starts back but stops as soon as i let off. It’s got me puzzled. Not as squeak but whoop sound. Has anyone had this happen before??
