Pinion nut question

Is there a trick to removing the pinion nut? I must be one of the lucky ones because I have been rattling on it with my impact and electric impact for the last hour, I have also used heat and still nothing. I’m tempted to just slap my new seal in and call it a day.

Need info about atv riding in TN

Hello all,

I am new here and have some questions that I am seeking answers to. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated. I use my atv mostly as a yard tractor but have been thinking about doing some riding, primarily for photograpy. Can someone tell me what is required for riding on the public atv trails in TN, such as, does the atv need to be registered/licensed, is proof of insurance required? Is there any other information that I need to be aware of?

Thanks for your comments.

Ted

Hello from Central Washington…

Hi, Everyone
Just picked up our 900s Friday evening put the first 45 miles on it Saturday, what a upgrade from the 09 800s we traded in.
Suspension seems a little stiff for me even after lowering tire pressure down to 6 from 20, backing off compression about 5 clicks. I need to read up maybe it’s like my KTM and has 25+/- clicks and need to adjust preload.
I’m also comparing it a machine that had RacerTech suspension.
So far i purchased the Polaris glass windshield and plan on getting the following.
-Ryco street kit.
-Trail Armor skid w/rock sliders and doors.
-AtvGuru front bumper.
-Factory UTV or EMP a-arm guards.
Not sure of winch or roof yet may make my own but would like to go aluminum it helps with the ground plan for cb.

And need to modify middle jump seat to fit new machine.
Well i think i’ve raddled on enough for a "Introduction post".

Hello everyone my name is Jordan and I am from Missoula. We bought a 2014 rzr 800 last year and absolutely love it. I decided to join the forum to learn some new things. We enjoy riding in Pipestone a lot and plan on making our first trip soon!

2002 Rubicon Jetting after bore job

Rebuilt my 02 Rubicon a couple months ago and had to bore it .40 over. Quad has been running decent with a little popping on deceleration. Checked the plug today and it was white. I am already over 3 turns out on the mixture screw, so I know I need to go up on the pilot. My question is do I need to go up on the main as well?

Current Pilot is 45
Current Main is 158

Next pilot up is a 48 and the next main up is a 160.
