Honda four wheeler starts, but doesn’t move.

My 2000 Honda rancher es, doesn’t move. It’s an automatic and four-wheel drive.
It starts and will shift into first gear and reverse, but doesn’t move. After a few minutes of running it completely stops shifting. So we turn it off and let it sit a few minutes, when we turn it on it shifts again.
It will not manually shift at all.
Any ideas on what the problem could be?

I am new to this forum, but have owned my Rzr for about two years now. We have a 2013 XP900 unit- two seat version that we just love. Just came back from a week in Moab that was fabulous and just rolled over 1240 miles on the odometer. One thing we are looking for is better rear stowage racks and an enclosed box. Anyone have any recommendations for a quality add on? Also interested to know if larger wheels are a good idea for enhanced ground clearance. Looking forward to hearing from other Rzr 900 owners.

7 day 800 mile ATV Trip with 850SP. How much gas to bring?

I will be crossing the Gaspe Region of Quebec on a week long ATV trip in June. It’s a rugged 800 mile trip that will require us to travel up to 250 km (150 miles) a day.

I just bout an 850 SP a few weeks ago and haven’t had a chance to run it so I don’t know how much fuel it uses. I’m wondering how far someone could go on an average day of trail riding. We will be averaging about 65-80 km/h (40-50 mph). Just wondering how much extra fuel I should plan to take.
