Been having these symptoms lately with my 2 year old winch. When it’s under a load it will make a pop noise and loose tension and then regain tension. The winch still pulls good it’s like it slips out of gear and then goes right back in. You should see the looks on guys faces when I’m pulling them up a hill and it pops and they think they are falling. LOL!!!!
Just checking to make sure I have installed my light bar correctly. I bought a wire harness from stv motorsports on ebay. I ran a 6 GA wire with a 30 amp inline fuse to to the power block (also a ground) from the battery. The wire harness has a relay and a switch. From the relay I attached the power (which has an inline fuse) and ground to the accessory and ground on the power block. From the switch I attached the power and ground to the accessory and ground on the power block. Also from the relay is a power and ground lead that I spliced into my light bar. Does this sound right?

I rebuilt the entire rear end on my 88 trx 300a 2×4. I walnut shelled blasted the rear brake plate, installed a new bearing, Cleaned and installed the cam shaft with anti sieze, new seal and felt. New shoes installed. All in Oct 2014.
I rode it last hunting season, then 1 work weekend at the lease in february this yr. May 1 weekend the rear brake is squaling like its metal to metal?

Been looking at 1K but also looked at 99 pg thread with all the problems.
I’ve been a loyal polaris owner and have a 850 touring. My questions is are most of the problems with the earlier models taken care of or are there still a lot of problems even the the 15’s. I’ve read the whole 99 pages and have seen everything from glove boxes not closing to trans leaking to noises in front end to shocks bending and all kinds of stuff. Have these issues been taken care of or has polaris ignored them with the later release of the new models?
