I just upgraded to the polaris 6 point retractable harness when i purchased my xp1000. I took it out once and they worked great. I then put on a desert works cage i had already bought. It did not have the tabs for the mounts as i did not plan on going with the polaris retractable at the time. I had the tabs welded on but they are at an angle instead of straight up and down like mounted on factory cage do to the bar beeing slightly lower. I then noticed that they lock and will not work unless perfectly straight up and down. This does not make sense as if you are in the dunes and your razor is on a hill. They would lock and not pull out. Has anyone ran into this on their Fox edition or have changed to them and had any issues like this.

Just wondering if guys have been adding these. My current carrier has one and the used one I got does not. I’m thinking it might be a good idea as the grease would blow out the hole before pushing the seals out. The bike is a 2000 scrambler 500 4×4
hello i have read the sticky on 400ex jetting but i have more mods then what he has is for mostly stock and idk what pm is im new to the site but
i got a 01 400ex with a 440cc big bore kit full big gun exhaust and big gun rev limiter its a stock cam though i think it has stock jetting its running super lean but also doesn’t seem to be getting power in the mid to top end rev of the motor anybody have any suggestion also i am gonna buy a air filter any suggestion on which brand k&n, Uni filter <honda oem and i am gonna get a stage 1 hotcam can i get info on what to run with the filter and hotcam and with out ?? i am just looking for any info or suggestions
Hey all, back again working on a Honda and it’s got me stumped! Customer broke the shifter inside, fixed that with no problems. Cleaned carb and figured it would fire right up! Wrong!
So on to spark, there is very weak spark unless I just hold the plug so that it’s just barely grounding. Got a go through the flow chart on the electrical system but thought maybe someone would have experienced this before.
