Used Sportsman 570SP vs New 570
I wasn’t really sure where the best place to post this is, so I figured this might be the best section.
I currently own a Sportsman 570 EFI and love it (have had it for about 1 1/2 years). I am planning to buy another ATV so that my sons can join us on the trails. They are 15 and 18 and have no riding experience. I want to get something that they can grow into, but I also don’t want to go overboard.
Because the used market here in Michigan is way overpriced (many 5 year old machines above new retail), I started looking at a new Sportsman EXT or another 570 EFI. While shopping, I came across a used 2015 570 SP with 18 hours and 125 miles on it for $6500 and a small amount of the warranty left. The new 570 I’m looking at is $5800 with all fees. I’m wondering if I should spend the extra $700 and get the SP and let my sons use the old 570.
What is everyone’s thoughts? Am I better off keeping what I have and just getting them an EXT for $5000? Should I avoid used regardless of cost? Can’t decide which direction to go. Any advice would be appreciated.

Winch mount
where can I get a Polaris standard winch mount for my 2015 sportsman 850. Called my local dealer and they told me the only way I can get the mount is with the winch. I don’t need a winch just the mount
anyone try this yet?
Looking at wheels and tires. I was thinking, why not just go to 15 inch wheels and getting like BFG’s, Nitto Grapplers or the like versus getting UTV tires?
I mean, hell they work on Jeeps and Off-Road trucks, why wouldn’t it work on our RZR’s?:popcorn:

Pulled a belt apart 2 weeks ago — Made a couple of changes and installed a new belt — Turned the camera’s on and stitched a couple of vid’s together .. .. Breaking in the new belt and testing the changes . . . . :rofl3:

2 days ago made a whole host of changes — Motor is softened up some ……. Won’t win any Drag Races — But damn .. .. It now is quite a FUN Dune Machine .. .. :ride:

Winch mount
I have the BRP winch mount 715000927. I can’t figure out where to put the fairlead. I don’t really want to mount it on the bumper but I may have to. The winch is a warn vantage 3000s.

the my 300ex wont start thread.
ok i will start and run i trolled you a little bit .
but i have to pop the solenoid everytime to start it .
my start button is non responsive even when in neutral
i did find a green wire that was off my clutch switch .. but it doesnt seem to have any effect on the start switch ..
my kill switches work as intended .. starter is good cuz i can pop to solenoid just fine and its not the solenoid itself cuz i have replaced it and tested the old one which is still good as well .
