I’m in pa and got 9 inches of snow in this storm coming through I had a motorcycle alliance plow strap on ( it’s a 2 wide i think nylon strap) it frayed and broke. Came in tried using part of a ratchet strap as a quick fix it frayed and broke. So in last option I put my syn winch cable back on to finish up it has a cable sheath on the end and it’s all frayed up now. I don’t see or feel any nicks or anything what could be causing this . I have pics of how the winch hooks up the fairlead and the damaged sheath maybe someone will see something I don’t . Since I have to buy an new plow rope what do u all recommend ?
