ok working with my 04 400ex. i rolled it a few weeks ago and it was in water/sand. well i bent the bars in doing so and i finally swapped them out. i didnt have any grip glue but thats what i had on them the first time when the left grip came loose. my buddy’s left grip is loose, and so is another. seems like its always this side.
when i put the grips on my new bars i cleaned them out good and i used hair spray like i used to on my bmx bicycles. but they had smooth bars on both sides. and these ones have a knurled left side to the bar. well this was on tuesday. went riding today and the right grip is on there solid, doesnt even try to budge. the left grip may as well have freaking grease inside of it……………..
how can i fix this? its both annoying and unsafe as all get out!
Looking for a new primary clutch mine is trashed it won’t even come apart for the spring or weights.
What options do I have? No one I’ve called has a Team clutch, local dealer can get somwthing minus spring and weights for like $450 but don’t remember the brand maybe just polaris.
This weekend I took my outlander out after it had sat for about a month. It had half a tank when I put it away so I refilled it at a gas station and when I unloaded it and went to ride it I noticed the throttle was weird it would be at around 10mph and feel sluggish then all of a sudden it would take off like normal but if I slowed down again it would act up again then I noticed it was idling weird like this. So I’m hoping it was bad gas so I’m draining most of it out and going to put fresh gas with some seafoam in it. Anyone have any other ideas of what it could be? I’m hoping it’s not the fuel pump. Or something worse like it not be firing on both cylinders or something like that
