Warn A2000?

Hi folks,

I have a Warn winch on a 91 Bear that hasn’t been used for about 20 years. Going by pictures on the web the only thing I can find with a butterfly/rotary switch is an A2000. Unfortunately I won’t know anything about it until it’s removed because I’m unable to read the label(s).

All I know is that the winch was included with the purchase of the quad when new, (I’m not the original owner).

If this turns out to be an A2000, would it be worth trying to salvage or better to buy new? I know there’s an upgrade kit available that replaces the switch, wiring harness and solenoid, for around $100 or so US. Also plan to replace the cable with synthetic. This "upgrade" is supposed to make it equal to an A2500Cl.

I know no name and cheaper winces can be had for $200 or so. Just curious as to what you would do in this situation.

Back in the game

Picking up my 570 tomorrow and wondering if I should go with 28 or 29.5 ol2? Or should I go origiginal outlaws. Plan on using stock rims if possible. If anybody is awar if I can use stock rims with no rubbing please let me know. Also do they make hotseat or looney tunes slip on for the 570?

Haven’t had a quad for 6 years and also wondering any other tires I should look at maybe that would be the same size and fit also

Front Brakes won’t stay pressurized

2005 Rincon
I had to replace the brake lines on this bike I bought because some fool cut the line.
I pump the handle brake and it builds pressure then crack the bleeder nut at the wheel and brake fluid squirts out(both sides over and over).

Pump handle brake again and it hardens but when I leave handle alone for a couple secs, all the pressure is gone.

Is it because I still have air in the lines?

TRX250EX Starts but doesnt run

I just became the owner of a used 05 TRX250EX, when I got it I did my usual for all vehicles I come to own used, I gave a front to back motor/carb clean and changed all the fluids. I went to start the ATV via jumping it (Old battery was dead) an while i could get it to start on starter fluid it would roar up and die down real fast. I went to check the fuel line to make sure i had the tank in the ‘On’ position but even in ‘On’ it only barely dripped. At this point I am a bit confused on how to continue

new to forum with timberwolf problems

Hey yall, im new to this forum i just picked up a 92 timberwolf 250 2wd that had a bad stator so i changed it and got her running but then discovered a leak at the bottom of the jug so i put a whole new top end gasket kit on it…… But now i have new issues. I know first gear is usually a short shift but the first 3 gears it seems as soon as i shift into them its already revving high and have to shift again. It doesnt seem to level out until i hit 4th gear. It also feels like some slop in the shift and when coasting to a stop it sounds like i can hear a chain drag somewhere. How do i fix this?? Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Spring Adjustment

When riding around the yard I’ve noticed that the suspension seems very stiff. Sharp turns, even at low speed will lift the opposite back tire clear off the ground. I know the springs are adjustable but can’t seem to find documentation on the proper method of adjustment. I’m assuming I would want to allow more travel.

I’ve only noticed this since I’ve taken the plow off so I’m assuming the previous owner stiffened it up the account for the weight of the plow.

This is on a 2009 Max 800R XT.
