Anyone running the quad boss 85l Storage box?
Is anyone using the quad boss 85l storage? anything you like or dislike? what is the free space you have on the sides?
800 lost power after going through mud puddles?
Was in West Virginia last weekend. My 07 Outlander 800 did great until I ran a trail with a bunch of water puddles (ankle high, nothing crazy). Hit those holes well enough to get the machine, me, etc pretty good and wet. Stopped for a drink and to regroup and started up again. I hit the gas and the engine "bogged" hardly moved. I had to climb about a 12 foot hill with a good rock near the top….the engine revved, the quad straddled that rock and sat there…
I managed to get over the rock and headed home — after about 5 min of riding down some long downhills…. the power came back. Engine revved louder, power returned… ran great again.
No lights came on, ATV has 2600miles, regular oil changes, general maintenance (mostly at dealers). You’re talking to a severe rookie when it comes to working on these things. Just had the dealer look the whole machine over in September before plowing season. Any words of wisdom?:th_smiliefrustrated

Been reading this site for a bit, amazing amount of information. Riding my 07 800 Max most of the time, but break out the KingQuad occasionally and the WR250F when I dare. Mostly trail riding in northern Wisconsin and the swamps in northern Michigan. Trip to Hatfield-McCoy each year. Appreciate the knowledge so many folks share on this site.

Dash bracket
Hi all,
I’m new to this and wanted to see if someone could educate this old man. I just purchased a used 2009 800 and on the dash is a bracket for attaching something. Looking at the attached picture can anyone tell me what it would be used for? Sorry if I appear so stupid.

I have a 2013 570 (trail, non-LE) with 950 miles on it.
Vehicle is in mint condition.
Polaris Sports roof and full windshield installed.
We just had a baby (4 mth old) and now need another seat (or two) to go riding (when shes a little older), therefore I have decided to sell my RZR.
There is a friend of the family offering me $7500. Is this a fair deal in you all’s opinion?
This is more than enough to cover payoff and will give me a little boot towards another machine.
On that note, what would you guys suggest for a vehicle for my growing family? – 900xp ranger, arctic cat 700hdx prowler, Yamaha viking?
