trx300 electrical fault

have owned a trx300 for many years that I use for pig hunting and gold prospecting in aussie outback but have developed electrical issue. Sometimes I must let the bike idle for a while before touching the throttle or it cuts out, sometimes turning the handle bars while reversing out of the shed, and sometimes wont fire at all. I have replaced both cdi boxes checked wiring and cant find the fault. All of a sudden it will come good. Any ideas maybe oil temp sender. When bike is hot no problem. thanks wayne

Need more power 2006 700

i picked up an 06 sportsman 700 efi recently. Put some 28 inch tires, 2 inch lift and a big guns evo u exhaust. First time I went and tried out some mud, it didn’t work in my favor. Little bit disappointed. It didn’t have enough power to get the tires spinning in 4 high to get myself out, and 4 low didn’t have enough wheel speed. I’ve been told since the wheeler is efi that I should change the air filter, and get a tuner. And I’ve also heard of changing the clutching. My question is what kind of tuner to get and what to do for the clutching? Thanks in advance

Roadster Pickup in Tucson

Hi everyone . Sam here. I now live in Tucson AZ. I bought a 2015 900 Trail (Camo) about 3 weeks ago. I have been busy building things for it and modifying others. I put a lock on the glove box door and made a locking door on the center open box in the dash. I built a rear /bumper/spare tire holder out of 1.5 inch .120wall tubing. I made door bottoms out of .120 ABS. I am in the progress of making a one piece skid plate out of 3/8 UMHW.
Thanks to all the guys and gals posting on this site. All the ideas and good old American ingenuity is alive and well and very useful.
My wife discovered on facebook, that some old friends of ours have a XP1K. We went on a short ride Saturday (maybe 15 miles total) I was amazed at how this thing will climb loose and rocky hills. I am an old dirt biker from Michigan (Observed Trials, Hare Scrambles enduro etc. plus lots of snow mobile experience.) To be able to get on/off the throttle, and pick a line around bigger rocks is amazing. This 62 year old retiree was LMAO. Anyway, my wife and I are looking forward to many adventureson the RZR.I will post some pics when I figure out how.

800 skipping and check engine light HELP!

2011 800 50 inch and we just took the whole front end apart and took the whole belt system apart and put it all back together. Wellllll we get it all back together cranks and runs fine….so we think. Once you get up to 5 or 10 mph it starts skipping and cutting out and the check engine light comes on. Ive checked codes before but you cant check this one because the light will not stay on! I can play with it and get it to run about 20 before it starts skipping and i mean skipping pretty bad. I wouldnt think taking the front end or the belt system apart would do this but its just crazy it was running perfect then we take those apart put it back now it runs like crap. Any help will be appreciated.
