I have a 2013 Polaris 500 h.o bought it brand new!
I have 2300 on the odometer.
This past Sunday I was riding an had noticed something funny Happening, never happened before.
Between 30km-60km when I give it gas or let off the gas it sounds like something grinding/ rattling like a heat shield, I looked over the entire bike nothing’s loose!
Kind of feels like/ sounds like it might be from the belt or clutch but I’m not 100% sure :/
Any suggestions on what it could be or what I should do?
From a Canadian who just wants to ride and not have to worry about breaking down over something, maybe I’m just paranoid :s lol
I have a 2011 Polaris Sportsman 500 HO and want to remove the front storage box and put just a front rack up there. I know they make them because I’ve seen pictures but can’t seem to find them anywhere. Anyone know where to get one?
Long story short i was at hatfield last weekend and went a little too deep. Mud/water got into my gas tank through my gas cap which wasnt on right (damn billet gas cap) and after riding for a bit it became hard to start and started sputtering on me. I got home and took the fuel tank out and found the mud/water and cleaned the tank all out and replaced the plugs since the sputtering was pretty bad and i had to ride it home like that. Now i have it all back together and it starts right up and isn’t stalling but my gas gauge shows no fuel. Is there something maybe stopping it from floating that i should check for? I’m going to take it back out tomorrow.If anyone knows anything about the fuel pump i would appreciate any help. Thanks! Ohh yeah. My buggy feels way more peppy with the new plugs in.

Okay, I have a 2015 900s. I have never owned anything along these lines ever. I just finished trying to grease the beast, I just want to check myself because I think I missed some up front. I hit 3 on front left and 3 on the right. 4 on on the left and 4 on the right rear. 2 on sway bar and 2 on the drive shaft, one by the clutch housing and the other in the hidden by the skid plate. If I missed any please tell me where they are. Thanks!
