Black Diamond Tires

I purchased a set of STI Black Diamond tires from Rocky Mountain ATV back in November. Only got 200 miles on them because I ran my ice tires all winter. Put them on for the spring ride and found a belt had broke in the side wall. Rocky Mountain stepped up and are sending me a new tire on Monday at N/C. Really impressed with Valarie and Rocky Mountain ATV. Will be making future purchases thru them

What size Tree saver/rigging strap for 1000/4

What size (width or weight) rigging strap/tree saver are you guys using for the XP1000/4?

I have a Viper Elite 5,000 lbs winch.

My RZR must weigh at least 1800 lbs with every thing I have added to it. I am also considering a 40′ 1/4" blue amsteel winch extension line since out here in Utah anchor points can sometimes be a long ways away!

I have been carrying a recovery strap and tree saver I used on an old FSJ J10 pickup truck and they are way to big and take up to much cargo space.

Thanks

Rhino axles 7-10″ lift also stock axles

I have have 4 brand new rhino axles still in the box never opened for rzr 1000 with super atv 7-10" lift. Asking $165 a piece for them. Have 2 front and 2 rear. Also have all 2 front stock rzr axles for sale for $100 a piece. The 2 rear stock ones came apart while removing, can be easily fixed I’ll let those go for $50 a piece apart or $100 fixed a piece

Great Harneses!

I just got crow utv harnesses from a company called Wesco performance. The model is 3015. These are really comfortable and easy to put on and off. The waist belt part looks like a regular seat belt and they are easy to adjust to different drivers. I had Dragon fire before but they were such a hassle to put on. Having just replaced our Razor 570’s after a theft, I looked into these. So much better. Check it out. The 570 only comes with regular seat belts which is no good if you ever roll it. Best advice. Don’t roll it but if you do you should have harnesses.

Long Wheel Studs for 14″ XP Rims

Hi All

I just wanted to share this as it’s something I couldn’t find online easily. I picked up some XP rims from a big bore polaris ATV for my 570 a few years back.

The original wheel studs fitted (kinda sorta) but just not long enough. I went and bought some extra long ones from an online store which are about 1/2 inch longer.

I’m glad I finally got around to changing them as I did have a wheel come loose a while back and it destroyed the rear hub assembly. Took me couple of hours to do, nothing crazy.

Thanks Ovo

Brand new 450 L max problems

Hello people,
finally purchased a 450 l dps max.

Today i received the bike with 2-3 mins and 1 km on the clock.

Upon riding the bike for the first time i noticed that it had very limited power, even my last bike which was a 250 had more power.

It will not go past 50kms/hr – 32miles/hr and to get there it needs some time.

It revs up to 6-7k (not sure because i don’t want to rev it up like this being brand new) in neutral with some hesitation and idles good but not perfect to around 1250 rpm but sometimes momentarily drops to about 1100 rpm.

Battery good, air filter good.

I’m from Europe if there is anything significant about that.

Is there any chance that the ecu is limiting things for the break in period?(which the manual does not mention at all).

Because if its not, somethings not right.

Monday morning i will call the dealer but until then id like to hear from you guys, thanks.

Big bear transmission block fissured

Hello,

My 1992 big bear’s transmission block literally lost a chunk of metal on the outside, now the quad won’t drive forward but does manage to go backwards but only one wheel turns, it also makes a very noisy rattling sound.

I found a guy who has a full engine block with a transmission and I’d like to buy it, is there tutorials somewhere on how to change it?

Any input welcome, thanks!
