I need a little tech advice. Just purchased my RZR 900 EPS Trail last month. I had the dealer install the HD winch system. So here is the problem. Everyone should be aware of this. When they installed the winch they forgot to relocate the radiator hose. I have about 25 mi on the unit. My wife and I took it out yesterday and we got about 10 mi from our trailer. Because of not relocating the radiator hose it rubbed a hole in it and the unit overheated. It got hot! Shut down. I saw about 245 F on the temp gauge. My question is. What kind of damage am I going to have to my new engine?. This is a dealer problem and not Polaris. Anyone have any ideas.
Does anyone make a spare tire carrier that doesn’t require any cage extension or modifying anything? Going to Hatfield at the end of June and would like to have one that doesn’t take up any bed space or require a cage extension. If any vendors on here sell anything like that feel free to message me with prices. Thanks in advance.
Just need some input. Went riding in ten over the weekend and came home to find my upper rear spring fully compressed.Ok this was my first ride with it since I bought it. Keep in mind that its a Freaking 2015! But to me it looks like some one put it in a vice and kept it there for a year or so. That spring is totally useless! So I looked and seems to be a commen thing. So I think I amgoing with Racertech springs all the way around. Is there any input from you guys on this? THXS.
I would like to thank the forum for the help in fixing a new to me Rancher. With the help of the search function, and some helpful answers from members, I narrowed down my problem to the electric shift reduction gears.
When I took off the cover, I found that one of the gears had stripped its teeth. I assume the it was from a lack of grease. I installed a new set with plenty of white lithium grease, as recommended here. Just now, took it for a short ride, and it is shifting perfect.
Going to change all the fluids in the next few days. Next week I will give it a long shake down ride, but I foresee no other problems.

Over the winter I tried starting my ’99 Polaris Magnum 500, It was very cold and was struggling to turn over, I ended up draining the battery….. so I took the battery in and charged it up. a couple months later I just went and put the battery back in now that the warmer weather is here, and now I get NO POWER!! the ignition lights don’t even turn on, nothing…. even my winch is dead… the battery is showing a full 12V… but no power at all….. Before I start either ripping this apart to figure it out or lug it to the shop…. can anyone give me any hints to look at?
