Relocated VR XP1K

I fabbed up a bracket. Mounted in front of the radiator. I used 2 washers on each side so reg is sitting off the bracket. Extended the wires. Trimmed the plastic to fit. I figured if it worked on my old 800. Why not my 1K.

honda 250ex

I just bought a 200 honda 250ex. U can start it wit pull cord but none of tha lights work at all. When I put a new battery in it I doesn’t do anything, headlights, taillights, and indicator light(reverse-neutral) won’t work and doesn’t start. Not ever a click from solenoid. What could cause this.

Touring 1000, drive shaft douches frame

Doing the initial maintenance on my touring 1000 yesterday, I removed the right side foot well and I found what you see in the attached photos… Yep, the front drive shaft is rubbing on a frame piece. It looks like it’s rubbed about half way through the thickness of that bracket already with a little under 400 miles on the odometer. I also have to wonder what kind of undue stresses were put on the front diff and u-joints due to the drive shaft being flexed out of shape before the bracket wore down.

I don’t think this is acceptable on a brand new machine. What do you guys think I should do at this point?

2008 Polaris 500- Shurs off when button pushed

I bought a 2008 Polaris 500 2up over the winter. I didn’t hook the battery to a tender, and the battery drained. I purchased a new battery, but now it won’t start. When I hook up the new battery and turn the key, the electronics DO turn on. The problem is, when I push any button, or try and turn the engine on, the electronics shut off. I have to disconnect, and reconnect, the battery for the electronics to come back on, and it is still the same issue of the power turning back off. I have checked all the fuses, and they seem to be okay. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

New to the Can Am world.

Picked up a Can Am outlander 800rXMR and loving it so far. Got a set of 1.5" solid aluminum wheel spacers and a Looney Tunes slip on and it sounds great imo. Question is do I need to run a programmer with it? I’ve heard some guys say yes and some say no. I’m not looking for gains atm I’m just looking for a nice deep sound. I’ve run it for a short distance and didn’t notice any backfire or poping while running or when starting.
