Looking for some people to ride with. This is my first quad 07 Grizzly 700 and I want to get out and use it. It is stock so I probably cant keep up with the super modified riders. I want to trail ride and get to know this beast. I live in Arvada CO but I don’t mind driving if it means I get to ride. I have a 5×8 trailer to haul my bike on and a truck to tow it with..
Thanks
Jerry
I see some are using the bilge pumps to cool there clutch and belt. My question is what is to much CFM , I have a 12volt 800cfm blower motor, it starts at 15amps then goes to 4amps once its going. I had it on a auto a few years back but still works perfect, is that way to much. the 800cfm was with smaller tubing like 2 1/2 so i would think going bigger would cut that down a bit.

FOR SALE
One set of 2 EFX Sand Slingers 29×14-14 for $300 (firm on price) + shipping if necessary. One paddle of the set is new and still in the wrapper. The other paddle has about 3 hours of sand time on it….otherwise it’s new. The original driver’s side tire had a chunk ripped off of the inside of each paddle when it made hard contact with an aftermarket muffler while the suspension was under compression….so it was replaced with a new tire. I prefer local pick up, but will ship them to you at your expense, and by whatever means you request.
Started with the rear, front kit is still on order.
the old
starting to bolt on the new kit.
NOTE: If you dont grease the o-ring grove to keep the o-ring that seals the axle in, your going to have a helva time installing it.
sorry about the potato quality
closeup on the completely installed kit. but note the poor angle on the mechanical brake lines. Turns out this angle goes to sh*t in a hurry once you get the linkage adjusted right. so much so that I choose to re-do it.
Here you can see how i lowered the lines with a piece of angle iron. being 2" lower and putting the lines much more inline with the tangential pull means they actually work.
Plenty of clearance on 11" stock rims.
NOTE: the angle of the lever arm after riding and adjusting. cant lock up the rear end but certainly keeps the bike from moving (parking brake) and does assist in stopping it.
Well its been awhile since I’ve been on here! But figured I would share that I purchased a new toy for the daughter. Just purchased it for $500 bucks and its a clean and great running little quad for what it is! Seemed reasonable for how nice it is. I will post a pic as soon as I get a chance.
Only thing I have noticed is that the front spindles seem loose. Just wondering what that job consists of and if its worth even fixing? It’s not horrible, but I want it to be safe.
Also does anyone have or know of any other plastics that might fit it? The wife and I want to girly it up and I don’t want to ruin to original plastics. Or would a vinyl wrap possibly work?
I welded on some tabs and used the racertech front brace to tighten up the ole car. She was getting a little sloppy.
Bushings were still pretty good but I threw some fresh ones in while I was in there.
some of the holes were egged out worse, but I had too much antisieze on my hands to take pics.
I am going to buy a new rzr sometime this summer. I’ve been checking and the base 900 can be had for close to the same as a 570 eps. I don’t think I can afford a 900 eps trail. At first I was pretty sure I wanted a 570 but I understand the base 900 has better shocks and of course the difference in power is huge. The big things I would miss on the base 900 are turf mode and the active descent mode ( or whatever it is called.). I’ll be coming from a ranger 400. It has been a good machine but I think both my wife and I will like the rzr much better. We can use it on public trails here in Ohio which have a 50 inch limit. The ranger is 54 inches. I’m sure the rzr will handle much better at speed too. So what do you all think? Any experience and advice will be much appreciated.
