This is my first post here but I would like to get some advise. I have a 1989 Honda 300 fourtrax. It needs a carb or carb rebuild, coil and a battery. It has new tires but is not currently running. I also have a 1987 Honda 250 fourtrax that is running( can pull start) just needs a battery. We just recently replaced the carb. I would like to sale these to purchase a newer one. Can anyway guide me in the right direction with pricing to help get these sold. Also would you recommend getting the 300 running before I try to sale.
Thank y’all for your help!
I should have pictures in the next couple of days of the 4 wheelers if that will help.
Started this over in the 900 Trail section but doesn’t look like it gets the same traffic as this section:
Anyone else having problems finding aftermarket accessories for your 2015 RZR 900 Trail?
To make a long story short, we are having problems finding Tusk accessories for our new machine. We REALLY like the Tusk UTV Rear Bumper, Cargo Rack, & Spare Tire Carrier:
Couldn’t find our machine under the list provided by Rocky Mountain ATV for this product so we gave them a call. After a lengthy discussion and a call back from them, they can’t even confirm that this product will be made for our machine even though it is made for every other RZR manufactured. Scratching our heads on this one.
But once again, it is not made for our machine at this time. Rocky Mountain ATV told us they "may" be able to get these in by mid July. Didn’t sound very reassuring though.
I don’t want to sound unreasonable but our machine has been out nearly a year and Rocky Mountain ATV (Tusk brand) can’t tell us whether or not they will make such a popular selling accessory for our machine?
We could always look at other accessories from other manufacturers but we like the price and quality of the Tusk products and we like our past dealings with Rocky Mountain ATV. Anyone have any insight on this issue?
Anyone here try these out instead of a GoPro? I like the idea of having them from the perspective of where your always looking and facing. Also seems like they are easier to use, not having to worry about the angle of a cam etc. anybody out there got some feedback, wanting to get them asap.
I’m working on the 09s. The front wheel bearings fall right in the knuckle. Didn’t have to puss or bear them. Just pushed them in by hand. The knuckles must be worn huh?
I have a 2003 Honda Foreman 450ES and when you are going down a hill and slowing down by downshifting or decelerating there is a loud backfire that sounds like a shot gun going off. The quad has been buried in a lake before could this be caused by a plugged exhaust? The carb has been cleaned and gaskets replaced with a stock jet set up. A new OEM exhaust is fairly pricy and a new aftermarket exhaust is about $400 so I don’t want to replace it if i don’t have to.
