New member with an old question

I have a mealy ’14 Grizz 350 2wd. It’s perfect for my use (hunting) but I do need an update on tires. I’m keeping the stock rims. I need an all around tire but one that isn’t scared of a small amount of mud.

Puncture resistence is as important. Clearly, my rear wheels need to be a tad more aggressive tire Than the fronts. I don’t drive fast, I merely putt around like the old guy I am.

I need advice from you geniuses.

Beginning to end wheel/tire questions

Hi I’m gonna probably have alot of questions on my tire and wheel upgrade to my quad so started a new thread. As far as the tires go I think I’m pretty sold on the bighorn og’s as I believe they are the best match for my riding as far as size that’s where the questions start from what I’ve been reading I think I want to stick with a 12 inch rim width wise I could use some opinions on that I know a friend of mine just got itp rims with a 8 inch tire and the rims seem to stick out to much and might bear alot of side impacts. Also not sure what size to get I’m either at 25 or 26 on this I do like the look of the bigger tire a little extra clearance would be nice but if I go with the 26 I’m just not sure if and how much power I’ll be losing and don’t know much about the shims and Springs but will that cause any kind of reliability issues. I’ll have more on the wheels but I’ll break it off here

Tire replacement

Ok all, I’ve got my new 2015 Grizzly 700 EPS. I’ve been driving around here in the snow, and out on the lake ice fishing. I’ve decided that I really do not like the stock tires. I’m Looking for, I guess you would call an upgraded stock replacement. I will be using my machine for hunting, trail riding, ice fishing, work ect. No mudding or deep water. I was thinking Kenda bear claws. What do you guys suggest for an all around good tire. I don’t mind going a size taller, but not necessary. From what I have read it seems you loose power if you go too big, and the fact that I’m 6’4" and almost 400 lbs I think I need all the power I can save.
Thanks.

BKT W207 Tires / BKT Tires

Ive never heard of BKT tires today, but my tire guy said he could get these at a decent price. I was looking at bighorn knockoffs (artrax ctx) and I had decent success with bighorn knockoffs on my big bear. I do a little bit of road riding from farm to farm, and other than that trails with a small amount of mud.

I was wondering if anybody had ever ran these? The four reviews I found on Rocky Mt ATV said they were crappy on hard surfaces. They don’t look much more aggressive to me but maybe the lugs are deeper than I think. Just wondering what everybody thinks of these. Not worried about turning them as I’m going to stay stock size.

Big tires in the front?

Want to put 28-11-12 mega mayhems in front and back on new 2016 grizzly. Got a buddy that has 27-12-12 kenda executioners all the way around and seems to do very well in mud and skeg. Another advantage is a guy could rotate them for wear. Anybody else run wide tires all the way around?
