kawasaki prairie 650 vtwin

Hey guys, I know this is a Honda website but this is the only forum I have. I am working on a Kawasaki prairie for a buddie of mine and it only runs at idle or from idle to 14 throttle, anything after 14 throttle just sputters n pops out the carb and also shoots blue flames out the pipe when trying to rev, it will not hardy rev at all without sputtering and popping and dyeing, carbs seemed clean pulled the bowl off and checked jets for cloggage, but they were all clean, anyone have any suggestions this, it has got me scratchin my head, any help or advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Pic request

Looking for a pic of a rzr with the red two tone utvinc grill ideally. May even consider the one with the light bar mount. Would like to see a better view of how it will look on the rzr (zoomed out a bit). Would be better if it was a black rzr, but will trake what I can get. Need to convince the wife I REALLY NEED ONE OF THESE

Thanks

New ATV or slightly used?

Hello,

I am new to the forum; I have been swimming through the ATV manufactures looking to re-enter the arena of all terrain vehicles. I have have not owned a wheeler for 11 years (2002 500 AC). I believe Can Am is my best option for my intentions; plowing, deer hunting, yard projects, and a occasional blast down the trail. I was a little over whelmed by the new prices that these machines command, so I started looking for slightly used with a warranty still intact. I have found a few that have under 300 miles (2014, 2015) , some with and some without warranties,

Being that most if not all XT packages get right into the 10,000 plus range. I wondering the thoughts of this forum on whether buying 10K plus machine without a warranty is just (Can Am dependability)? There happens to be a 2014 1000 XT with 179 miles and lots of extras right at 10 grand for sale. I am concerned with the what ifs, and I don’t need a 1000 cc model, but it appears to be in excellent shape and a pretty good value for the price. Any thoughts?

Thanks!

SuperATV.com axle boot

I put new superatv.com axles on a 550 grizzly. I realize that it "depends" on what happened to it. There holes in both boots on one axle in the first 100 miles. When I feel it compared to spare boots i have for the stock axles they seem to be much softer and flexible. Is there a problem with them ripping?
The next issue I have is I can not get them apart. I have looked at video’s with the taking out the big clip. I have tried in several different places and have been unable to feel any clip. Any input would be appreciated.

Belt question/issue possilby

His is actually on my 1k, but Im tend to stay in 1 forum. I pulled my clutch cover off cuz I got gates belts for my 900s and 1k. But looking at my 1k belt, it looks like it isn’t seated all the way in the clutch. Is the clutch squeezing to hard and pushing the belt up to much? Wouldn’t that make less contact space on the belt??

Mounting a Kayak to the roof of the RZR?

Has anyone done this and how did you do it?

One of the places I ride there are a few small lakes. I would love to bring the kayak with me and paddle around on the lake. Any ideas or sujestions would be great. If you know how to fit 2 at the same time that would be great!

My new ride

Picked myself up a 2011 Rzr 800 LE last week from a older local gentleman. This one was well taken care of and never abused like my previous one so i figured i better snap it up. Now i need some accesories, ordered a amp and speakers and next on the list is a roof and led lighting.
