I’m located in Butte Montana. A bearing on the rear differential or transmission or whatever it is pretty much exploded. Would rather replace the whole thing than rebuild it then rebuild the old one. Any help or advice is extremely appreciated. Machine has roughly 4500 miles on it and mostly stock.
Can’t seem to find much in searching, maybe user error? lol.
Anyway new to can am (always had Polaris and thought I’d try something difft) recently picked up a 15 max 650 xt and about time to change the fluids. Gonna use amsoil but can’t seem to find many cross referenced oil filters.
What’s everyone using?
Also being new to the difft sounds of a can am does it seem normal to hear a whine or wawa sound from what sounds like the clutch area when going slowish (15-20 mph)
I have a Honda rancher 400 AT its a 2007 w a custom 1- 1 12 inch lift I want to upgrade to new tires. I want to get the kenda executioner on some new rims. I have now in the front 24x8x12 an back 24x10x11
I want to change to 25x8x12s all the way around. I have the stock axles on as well. Should I upgrade or wait till it breaks.
So what I want to know are there any major cons to doing this to my bike? I think it’d b just fine. Just want some advice
Thx
Strange thing happened to me this weekend… first off, I’ve had my RZR for about 3 months now, and I don’t know how old the battery in it is. It could very well need replacing. It has never given me any trouble though, and it has sat 3-4 weeks at a time with no problems cranking. That said, I went to crank it yesterday and it was dead as a doorknob. Fuel pump wouldn’t even turn on or any lights on the speedometer. Kind of odd to me because I had just used it a bout a week and a half ago and it started just fine. So I tried to jump it off and it jumped right off, but as soon as I’d remove the cables, it would die. So I figured the connections probably needed cleaning and took everything loose and cleaned it all up. While I did that, I checked the battery and it only registered about 7.5v. So then I thought well maybe battery’s just toast. Well I hooked everything back up and put my meter on again just to be sure and I noticed voltage drop. It would drop .01v about every 2-3 seconds with key switched off. I went ahead and fully charged the battery and cranked it again and it kept running on its own. I let it idle for a few minutes to try and keep the battery charging and it sat there and ran fine. So I went to move it around the house and i made about halfway and it started to spit and sputter, so I stopped and was going to turn around and take it back and it died right there and wouldn’t crank again. Battery dead that quick.
So does this sound like the battery is just shot? Or is that too much of a power draw somewhere? Or maybe a problem with my stator? I forgot to check the voltage while it was running. It was just odd that it has done fine as long as I’ve had it, and did fine just a week ago and now all of a sudden it’s dead. And when I used it a week ago all I did was move a trailer around in the yard and park it. Ran it for maybe 10-15 mins just around the yard so I don’t think anything could have happened between then and now. Any ideas before I drop the money on a battery?

Ok so I got my 2007 Grizzly 350 4×4 yesterday and found out there is already a Cycle Country mount installed on the ATV. I think it’s a mid mount but not sure. It’s underneath the ATV and the holes are about in the middle of the ATV. Now my question is, am I limited to a Cycle Country plow or can I use any other plow? I want to start shopping around for one but want to make sure I know what to get. The ATV has a winch on it so it is already technically really for a plow install.
Any other information you can give me would be much appreciated.
Just found this forum and looking forward to learning. I haven’t got my ride yet because I’m undecided. At this point I definitely want a Polaris in a 900 and can’t decide between a RZR or Ranger, trail or full size. So got some research ahead of me and glad I found this site!!
Many years ago I rode dirt bikes and 4 wheelers but never UTV’s so yea I’m a newbie.
Just ordering some Method rims 401 bead locks and Tensor tires. I am going up to the 15" rim. But which off set is the best. I think they only come in 15 x 7 with a 5 +2 or 4+3 off set. I want to be able to rotate from the front to the rear. The Tensor tires will be the 30 x 10 x 15. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I just bought my first RZR, a 2015 900 in gloss nuclear sunset. Unfortunately most of trail systems are closed for 1 more week, most trails open next Saturday
