Picked up an 09 for my youngest daughter a while ago. Super easy to do maintenance on and built really well.
Took her to lost trails in PA yesterday. What a great quad! That little beast went darn near through everything my 700 did. Sure there was a few waterholes that were too deep and one section of rocks that hung her up once. But besides that, she ripped through everything on it.
Having an auto with reverse for a quad that size is priceless for trail riding.
That’s it, just had to share how happy I was with that little beast, it was fantastic seeing the smile on her face when she blasted through all of the trails !

Ok, so I’ve got a 16′ outty 850XT. Ive read all the stories on here of guys needing brakes afeter 80 miles and so on. Well I went to try and order a set of EBCs last friday from my local motorcyle shop. of coarse they dont list the 16 850, so we pulled them up for a 15′ 800 and it specificaly said they will not fit my 16 850. I’m going on a weekend trip to the mountains and mine are already shot with 120 miles, what do i do????? Is there computer just wrong? I dont see them changing that up?
Think any of the upgraded clutch or drive train parts on the turbos will make their way on the 2017 1ks next year? Looking into selling my 800S and upgrading to a 1k but I’m willing to wait if the next year machines will be that much better. The more I check out in here there seems to be a few issues still.
I know it’s really early to know for sure but figured most have seen what polaris has done with the rzrs over the years for a good guess anyways.

Hello everyone new to the forums but have been looking around for awhile now. I have an 08 800 standard, have a set of skinny wide 31 inch outlaws that i want to put on it.
1. Would it be a good idea to convert it to the "S" model? Not exactly sure if this is needed or what it does all together and say for instance if i change to a 5-6 inch kit later would the "S" be a waste?
2. Would just a 3" lift fit the 31’s. Seen that on the S model with just a 3” lift people are able to fit 30’s. Or a 3" lift and forward a-arms. But would that be to much for the stock axles? Seen a couple people on with a similar setup but dont specific whether they have stock axles or not.

I recently fouled my plugs and trying to see what most likely would have caused it.
Not using oil, compression is 185-190 on the fresh bb kit and rebuilt head.
Kinda looking at 3 things:
I had ngk iridiums in an 8 heat range, put 7s in it now. Thought the small bump in compression would be ok but looks like they possibly weren’t hot enough because the idle on the 7s is already much smoother then before.
Alba fuel programmer is on the rich side maybe, however I ran it all summer and early spring in varying temps without issue just a strong fuel smell but figured it was normal since the efi is so basic and exhaust has no cat.
The tbap sensor, thinking of just replacing it to simply eliminate it from the list. There aren’t any trouble codes thrown but didn’t know if it will throw one or not if it’s giving wacky readings or going into a default mode and running really rich.
so keep in mind that their is a stage 2 dyno jet kit. so went for a ride and has lots of power until high rpm they will sound smooth then it will have a quick choke like it didnt get enough air or fuel then will turn smooth again while this is happening im trying to go faster but it cant. Throttle cable adjustment, dirty carb??
My engine had a major blow out. Rod broke in half which blew though the bottom end and broke one of the end of the cylinder off. The cam shaft is also bent due to this. Valves and pistons are fine. I’ve been led to believe that this engine is to far gone to try and fix.
So i’m looking for a new engine to buy. Does anyone have a 2008 – 2010 RZR engine for sale?
