crank case filter help

just finished snorkelling my 07 can am, what should i do with the crank case vent line up to the pod or wrap around the air filter with a small filter on the end, and were do i get a small filter for it and what size of hose is the crank case vent line

Not getting fuel

I have a 1999 300 honda 4×4 that was running fine after installing a dynojet kit then all of the sudden it bogged when applying the throttle…stalled and will not start again. I took the carb back apart thinking it may have some dirt in it but was clean as a whistle. The only way to get it to start is to take the air box off and put my hand over the carb…it will start for a sec then bog at any amount of throttle and stall. ..any suggestions??

itp mud lite xtr upgrade

hey can anyone help!!?? i have the 2016 sportsman 450ho… i just ordered some itp mud lites xtrs F 26x9x12 R 26x11x12 can anyone with a similar machine who has put that type of tire on tell me if any clutching will be necessary?? i’v upgraded two sizes from F 24x8x12 R 24x10x 12… thanks any help would be great…. still running my stockers!! more than half worn off… i do alot of running in the kawarthas in southern ont… awsome riding here..:hump::hump:

tire upgrade

Hey i wonder if anyone can help!!?? i have the 2016 450 ho sportsman.. i just ordered some itp mud lite xtrs… size. F. 26x9x12 R. 26x11x12 can anyone tell me if they have had these tires on a simalar machine and how they work without any clutch work. i’v moved up two sizes from F 24x8x12 R 24x10x12…. thanks… im still on my stock tires and iv almost worn them off…

atv seat cover material

i had my seat redone. next time i want to do it myself. i can still feel the bad spots in the foam, where i screwed up an left it outside, though they did put some replacement foam in to cover the bad spots, they didnt take out the kinks i had left. i would have filed or smoothed it then added extra foam, according to my research. i will talk to them an see what they say.
Meanwhile; what is the best material? Marine Vinyl? I want to reflect water, temperature, and sun.

Mileage or Hours?

I know the manual says whatever comes first.. but I hear more and more people seem to follow hours only.. what do you follow?

I just did the first oil change on my 2016 570.. 330mi/21hr. Manual shows next oil change should be 50hr/500 miles. I will be at 500 miles WAAAAY before 50hr.. so do I wait or change it again right at 500? I just trail ride so no major abuse.

Polaris Magnum 425 Shooting Oil From Crankcase Tube(With Pictures)

I finally got my magnum running after about a year of sitting and it almost instantly starting shooting oil from a tube coming from the crankcase to under the exhaust on the right side. It’s not a little squirt it’s a puddle of hot oil shooting out in about 10 seconds. I’ve read that the tube should connect to the airbox but my airbox doesn’t have a tube going but has a hose nipple so I’m guessing this one goes there. I’ve also read that sometimes when an engine sits a while oil leaks down and when started pushes it out? Any help would be very thankful!

06 predator 90

Hey all. I have been through the forums a lot. And some other forums, looking for help on issues.
1. Rear brakes no worky. Pads have some meat left, took off the drum and cleaned it, took some 400 grit to it, it seems a little worn, but hopefully has some life left. Seems the brakes don’t engage enough? I did try and tighten that wingnut out back, even moved that brake cable holder that is attached to the cam, moved it toward the back a couple of splines.(Because at full brake it would hit the rear tab for the plastic guard. Still no engagement, the brakes move, but not enough. Ordered a new drum and brakes. We’ll see how that goes.
2. Idle…I’m no carb wiz, but looking through some videos and service manual…
The idle screw (which is not what its called in manual)…looking at the front, it’s the screw that is sticking out the front of the carb the closest to the front…?
I did make some adjustments in and out, but did not do anything, it was screwed all the way in, so back it went to where it was. I’m not sure about idle mixture screw? The idle on this bike is ok, but it seems to "thump" a little too hard? Hope that makes sense.
3. The bike will backfire occasionally when my daughter rides it, I say occasionally, it’s every few minutes…I think it might be on decel…
4. The belt engagement can be a little "jerky", has to rev up to about 1/2 throttle to engage. This is the first belt drive I have owned, so I am a little lost, but I can follow instruction and learn pretty quick.
